AARA Banquet wraps up 2003 racing season at Belle-Clair Speedway & I-55 Raceway!

Belleville, IL (January 3, 2004) The Allied Auto Racing Association (AARA) held their 48th Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 3rd at the Belle-Clair Exposition Hall. The AARA Awards Banquet covers the four classes at I-55 Raceway and the four classes at Belle-Clair Speedway. AARA handed out over $22,000 in cash awards along with trophies and plaques.

NASCAR Nextel Cup veteran driver and I-55 Raceway co-promoter Ken Schrader was amoung the special guest on hand. Ken Schrader and Ray Marler presented a special award to the I-55 Raceway AARA Sportsman Champion Paul Bauman. Bauman was awarded 2nd place in the Nation in the Contingency Connection, Mr. Gasket Performance Group. Bauman was presented with a check for $2,000 from Mr. Gasket and the Contingency Connection.

In the U.M.P. Late Model division at Belle-Clair Speedway, the top 10 in points were:
