Adding a New Track to my Bucket List!!!!

Going to Farmer City for the 1st time this Friday,Finally!!!!!!! Anybody got any advice about the place,all I've heard has been GOOD.:cool:
 
my advice would be to stay for saturday night as well. they have having a concert on the race track! There are several banks playing with Jackyl being the headliner. it starts at noon and going through 11pm.
 
track is in the middle of nowhere, and there are two ways to get there. similar to Lincoln, you pay from the car.
 
Super nice track. Good prep, nice and round with a good bank makes it one of the fastest 1/4's anywhere. You'll love it.
 
Get there early for good seats..Have covered grandstand and bleachers and more seats on the back straight..also you can park next to the horse track rail in turn 1&2 and watch from your car..Great track and well run program usually over by 10:45.Expect 40-50 LM and around 30-35 Modifieds believe they are also running street stocks and hornets...

I just wanna say thanks to all the crew,vendors,and fans for making this a great night!!!!Everybody was friendly and the concession workers went out of there way to be appreciative to fans for being there!!!BTW, the SLM feature was the best I've seen this year! Brandon and Shannon put on a hel* of a show. The Mods were just as good,Harrison and Kinder battled hard for the win. Farmer City and Fayette Co. make the fans feel important and realize that the product on the track is the reason we are there! I'm ready to go back anytime.;)
 
and that is what we need more of for the fans cause it take alot of money just to go watch races now.i have been on both sides of the fence and if it wasnt for the fans there would be no races..bart reese
