Adler selected to test for the Winner’s Circle Career Development Program

Seventeen year-old Daniel Adler will spend this coming weekend in California testing for the Ron Sutton Winner’s Circle Career Development Program. Adler, who currently races midgets and both winged and non-winged sprint cars in the Midwest made the 24 person cut for the upcoming test.

About a month ago, Daniel submitted his resume to the Ron Sutton Winner’s Circle Career Development Program search. After several weeks, he received an e-mail stating he had made it to round three of the selection process; which included a 25 question e-mail interview and a phone interview with Ron, Daniel, and his father. Soon after this interview, Daniel received word that he was picked to test in California. Around 520 driver resumes were submitted for this talent search, they were then narrowed down to around 80 for the phone and e-mail interviews, and from that only 24 were selected for the test. Each driver will participate in a two hour classroom session, and then will be judged on five - 20 lap sessions in a Ford Focus pavement midget. Daniel and his father will leave for California on October 12th and return on the 15th.

In 2006, Daniel compiled eight Top Ten midget feature finishes, six Top Ten sprint car feature finishes and claimed second in the MARA Midget Point Standings.
