Madison, IL - Gateway International Raceway and Adrenaline Motorsports (St. Peters, MO.) will host
the first annual Adrenaline Drift on Sunday, August 14, 2005. Gates will open at 9 AM, with the
drifting competition starting at 10 AM.

Unlike other motorsports drifting is not a timed event or a head-to-head race. It's a style competition to
prove who can get around the course with the most style. Some of the more common style points are
power sliding through the turns, doing donuts, and altering your driving style such as hanging out the
window.

"Drifting is one of the hottest, most exciting, and fastest growing forms of motorsports in the world,"
said Matt Strelo, Gateway International Raceway Vice President and General Manager, "We are happy
to partner with Adrenaline Motorsports to bring this type of event to the St. Louis area."

The event will also be comprised of the Adrenaline Motorsports Show and Shine Car Show. The
drifting course will be set up on the infield of Gateway's oval track. Each drifting competitor will have
multiple opportunities to take their chance at the track. Each of the runs will be judged, with prizes
going to the top 3 finishers.

"Drifting is a type of motorsport which is more of a style competition, but it also is very reliant on the
skill of the drivers and the high performance of the automobiles they drive," said Charles Litterst, owner
of Adrenaline Motorsports, "Most of my customers were asking for an event, so I'm happy that we
could partner with Gateway to make it happen!"

Drifting competitors can register online for the event at myautoevents.com. For more information on
the event, please log on to www.gatewayraceway.com and www.adrenalinexxx.com
