[Ventura, IA] - - Al and Mike Hejna are proud to announce the launch of their new web site. Race fans will be able to get the latest news on them by logging on to www.HejnaRacing.com.

"This is something we've wanted to do for along time,"
commented Al Hejna. "Over the last couple of years, Mike and I both have started to travel more to race. This will be a great way for the fans to keep up."

"The race fans have been great to us over the years," added Mike Hejna. "We hope this allows them an easier way to stay informed."

The Hejna Brothers race open-wheel dirt modifieds in the upper Midwest, and they have had there fair share of headlines over their racing careers. Between the two of them there is 36 years of racing experience, 23 years in a modified, 126 modified wins, 9 track championships, and 12 IMCA Super National starts.

In 2004, the two grabbed a total of sixteen wins. Al Hejna earned the 2004 United States Modified Touring Series Rookie of the Year and finished eighth in that series' final point standings. Mike Hejna grabbed 10 wins on the year highlighted by a win during the prestigious Featherlite Fall Jamboree held at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, MN) on night one.

There have been a lot of changes at tracks the two raced at in 2004. I-35 Speedway (Mason City, IA) changed to IMCA sanction. Hancock County Speedway (Britt, IA) changed promoters and is now under the direction of Todd and Janet Staley the USMTS and founders of the United States Racing Association.
The Staley's also have picked up the promoter title at Cresco Speedway.

So what is the plan for Hejna Brothers Racing? While they are still waiting on a few tracks and series to release their schedules, the preliminary plan is to race again on the USMTS trail. When not on the road, the two "Racing 7's" should be at Hancock County Speedway (Britt, IA) on Friday nights and Cresco Speedway (Cresco, IA) on Sunday nights.

"With Britt (Hancock County Speedway) and Cresco switching to rules more in line to what we are used to, this will allow us to continue our relationship with Kabrick Distributing,"
stated Al Hejna. "They are the Budweiser distributors for North Iowa, and they have been a proud member of our race program for years."

Along with Kabrick Distributing (Budweiser Products), Rookies Rockin' Sports Bar (Clear Lake, IA) , Sign Pro (Mason City, IA), Skyrocket Chassis and Shryock Racing Components (Fertile, IA), Midwest Motorsports, and Dick Boyer Engine Development are proud sponsors for Hejna Brothers Racing in 2005.
