Since the other thread is on lock down I thought I would go ahead and start this one. Lets stay on topic please. Im very curious as to who has the most feature wins in the sprint class since SFCR has been around. It would be cool if all tracks kept the official count but most dont so who is it? Or here lets try to answer these questions,

most feature wins

most track championships

most feature wins in one season

I would say Timmy Montgomery on wins, Tubby won a bunch but the season's was way shorter back in the day. Track Championships has to be close with Timmy and Tubby also, but I'm guessing Tubby on that one.

Timmy with wins, Timmy with championships, Worley with most in a season. He won all but like 4 one year, and ibracing had him as the 3rd winningst driver of all sprinters that year to a wingless driver and Donny Schatz

Track Championships

Tubby has 9 Track Championships at the track, the first 9 years it was open. He has a total of 18 or 19 track championships. I would say he is still in the lead, or close to the lead in total number of features won, but I know Timmy, Joey and Tommy are racking them up and could well have more. The most wins in the season could be Tommy, but there are several people who had a lot in one season. Just to name a few that had some good years at Farmington besides those mentioned above....Jeff Wiggs, Ron Standridge, Shawn King, Mike Thurman, Tony Weyant, Ron Milton, Rick Pennel, Robbie Standridge, Dean Adams, Dean Adams Jr, Jason Smith, Jon Corbin, Jim Moughan and many more. I wish they would have kept up the old programs with a little bit of stats and history included.

Other track champions include Rod Crabdree and Tom Burch that I am quite sure of.
Gene Burch probably has several wins from back in the day. I will do some digging for some of this information when I have the time, maybe if the snow gets really deep this winter.

I remember Ricky Pennell,Jason Smith, Ron Standridge, Joey Nash, Rod Holliday, Mike Thurman, Tony Weyant, Lee Dunn, Tom Corbin, Dean Adams, Robbie Standridge, Terry Babb, Jim Moughan, Tim Montgomery, Jim Brewer, Jim Farmer, Rod Redmond, Jeff Hall. I remember back in the early 90's to the mid 90's when all these guys listed would be at SFCR every saturday night. It was anyone's race to win. Wish it was that way now.. Where is Joey Nash, Jason Smith, Tony Weyant, Lee Dunn, and Rod Holliday at these days?? I seen Lee Dunn in the pits at the Queen's Royale last year. Ive always wondered why someone hasn't called him up to pilot their car. He knew how to get around SFCR really well!

I know Tony Weyant soldout about 8 years ago. Brett Sammonds who drives the 47 sprinter was the one who bought him out. Tony has a son Evan who races micros around here. They have Tonys old paint scheme on the micro. Yellow car with the number 38.

Champions

Tubby has the most in sprints. Brent Thomson has the most over all. The one Brent won this year put him over Tubby.

Unless i got my names mixed up,i sat by Rod Redman at the Queens Royal.Didn't he always have the big hat on??That was only the 2nd race he had been to last year.

Probably Tubby Black. Ive been goin to that track since 79. Dean Adams Jr was the first driver to unseat Tubby from his stint of track championships. Im sure Ron Milton and Mike Thurman have to be in there somewhere. Lot of good memories from the 80s at that track. Used to have a really good field of Sprints show up from all over. Miss the good ole days.
