AMP Series Operating Officer Bobby Hudson echoed wife’s sentiments, saying he is excited about the late model racing series’ future.

“The AMP Series, without a doubt, has been the biggest brand in dirt motor racing in the Mid-South area for the past two seasons,” Hudson said. “It is the grass roots racers that’s keeps this series moving forward in the region.

It’s our intention to continue to build the late model series and make it bigger and better than it’s ever been before. I think the interest shown in our late model division is indicative of the interest that exists in the series.

As you build the series, more of corporate America will become involved in the brand. The more members who become involved with the series, things start happening that have never happened before. We’re looking forward to some very exciting developments with the AMP Series for next season.”

The Arkansas Motorsport Professionals, fire-breathing mudslinging teams, which opened its 2007 season with a landmark on a one night show at Crawford County Speedway in early March kicked off this premier series that has brought veterans’ and youth together to compete and forge forward and race with us again in 2008 and its already shaping up to advance to higher ground in 2009.

AMP Series have scheduled 21 sanctioned races this season at tracks throughout the mid-south area. The series has had 68 competitors visit the fields this season, and look forward to seeing many more before the season comes to an end.

AMP Series Return to Greenville Speedway July 19, 2008 where the teams will compete with the Local talent in the area and the SUPR racing series.

This will be AMP’s first visit to the grounds since last season.

AMP Series would like to thank our Marketing Partners and encourage all racer, fans and friends to visit with them during the 2008 race season.

AMP Series members/drivers that compete 80% during 2008 with paid membership will be able to have a chance of winning a 28 foot Lift Gate Stacker Trailer presented by Blue Ridge Trailers Inc of Canton, Texas. www.blueridgeliftgate.com
