Announcing sports scores at the track?

I don't want to make a huge deal out of this, but would it be possible for the area tracks NOT to announce the scores of the Blues and Cardinals games? If people want to know the score anyone can look it up on their phone. I don't know about others, but I record them to watch when I get home from the races or the next morning, and would prefer not to hear the score ahead of time. What do other's think about this?

Agreed. They are readily available on any smartphone.

I agree. With the technology today anyone can look it up. If the announcers do want to give the scores, maybe they could let people know before they do. That would appease everyone.
