Corinth, Mississippi (01/20/10) – Coming off a breakout year in 2009, which saw him pick up ten feature wins, Anthony Burroughs is preparing his #121 ALT Transportation/Mastersbilt By Stuckey Super Late Model for his 2010 season opener this weekend in the 9th Annual Winter Classic
For the 2010 season Anthony has teamed up with ALT Transportation and Amy & Virgil Taylor. Anthony is preparing for a 2010 season that will see him competing in the full Southern Regional Racing Series tour as well as select events with the P.R.O., Southern Nationals, UDLMCS, and Lucas Oil Late Model tours, while also competing in various, unsanctioned Super Late Model events across the Southeast.
Anthony will be piloting the #121 Mastersbilt By Stuckey Chassis for 2010 along with Wall-2-Wall Performance Spec Engines and Brown Engineering Open Motors. Virgil will be utilizing a pair of GRT Chassis with Brown Engineering Power Plants.
Anthony will be kicking off his 2010 campaign this weekend, January 22nd-23rd, at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi with the 9th Annual Winter Classic. Burroughs enjoyed a great run at the 2009 edition of the event as he stormed to a solid 4th place finish to start the year. This weekend, Anthony will be looking for his first Winter Classic title. The weekend gets underway on Friday, January 22nd with an open practice session, while time trials, b-mains, and the 40 lap, $3,000 to win feature will be held on Saturday, January 23rd.
