Hey racingfreak and scruffy, I wasn't even there last night. You guys are not going to drag me into this one--at least not this time.

You folks could really do yourselves a favor if you would get over this obsession with me.
 
BP the "obsession" with you as you say, is self inflicted..you brought in on yourself, so you will hear it for a long time.

but i think godfrey tries really hard and i give them props...they work hard too..i agree they need a towing service, but other than that i think they are doing the best they can right now, and thats all we can ask
 
just got word that a mod driver went to cash his check and INSUFFIENT FUNDS!!!
Guess thats why they wanted to cut the features? This is not a rumor this is FACT!
 
If mother nature was such a problem why didn't he just call them to begin with, then he wouldn't have to worry about time and cut all the features short.

last nite was one of those nites that should of been called. without a wrecker service how can you race? and i think 5 classes of cars is too many for a track with a curfew that cant start on time. the bmods are getting a good car count every week but the a mods have been down alot last couple of months. same with sportsman.late models are finally picking up again. maybe combine the modified classes into one class and same for sportsman and street stock? i dont no what the answer is but i sure would hate to see the track close down because of some stupid curfew rule. people knew there was a track there when they moved in.
 
Friday was a bad night all around, weather, track, towing, curfew, etc etc... but that doesnt mean that I dont appreciate the efforts and progress that has been made at the track this year. Just hope things get squared away before the curfew police take care of the problem the way i'm sure they would like to.

As far as a NSF check goes, the money probably hadnt been deposited from last night yet or whatever. I doubt very seriously it was anything more than a timing issue or something of that nature.

NALMS show should be awesome if we can get a decently dry week. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one, cause its been a weird weather summer for sure.
 
It could have been a computer error..transaction delay..ect. Who knows. And if youve ever worked a track..and mother nature thrws a wrench in it..then you would know....you can work that track in..all you want..but..you 100 percent never know how it will hold up..during the night. Chad..keep the good work up.
 
I dont know why they got rid of KTI there but I feel they did a heck of a job towing and all of those guys knew what they were doing and there werent any delays. Personally myself and all of the people I know that come there would like to see them back. Sometimes somebody has to swallow their pride or whatever to do whatever makes it work best for their business. Just food for thought.
 
I agree, but with the hard feelings all around, i very seriously doubt that would happen. Regardless, the track needs a couple wreckers (not rollbacks) with crew that knows how to clear things quickly.
 
Chad needs to talk to Geo. Price he and his crew used to do a great job. All he used to require was a pit pass for he and his people. His wasn't the newest equipment but
hussled and got the job done.
