I know there where 25 hornets. I think about 8 Late models. About 15 mods and about 10 sportsman/ street stocks. Maybe someone has a more exact count. Best i can remeber.

Thanks to Rick and Bev for a great night of racing. And for upping the the 1st place hornet payout to $150 since they had over 18 cars. Also like getting to run the 15 lap heats and features. 15 for hornet and sportsman, 20 for mods and late models. See ya next week at the Vern ! Go Jon Easley #0

idk the rest of the payouts. Sorry . Heard one class was $250. If they got more cars would be $300. Not sure which.

gofast ur wrong the allied sportsman is not much different then the ump street stock that runs at the vern.Wahoo has alot smaller engine to be honest with ya.alot of ur sportsman runs the stock 4 link really only diffence is the body.before u make a statement get ur facts right.

Wahoo wasn't running a spring pullbar and has alot less motor. His car is allied legal and he wins at Belleville. He is a great driver. Sorry your upset he beat the street stocks. It's also a sportsman/street stock class. You new that when you came.

Its a street stock/ sportsman class. Thats what rick said before the track opened you knew this before you came. No i don't have a stock floor pan or firewall. But its a sportsman/ss class Rick put the rules out there. Emods, 2 brrl, he said nothing about floor pans or a firewall. If you don't like it i dont know what to tell you. He did say at the drivers meeting street stocks must wiegh 3100 and sportsmans must wiegh 3200. Which i wieghed 3270 this past saturday. I have a small motor nothing special. With a stock trannsmission. I love racing at mt.vernon, we weren't going to run again this coming saturday but now we will be there. I have a well balanced car with a good setup and i wasn't running a spring loaded pullbar saturday. I love racing at the vern and will continue to do so. Good track, good facility, very good racing surface. Good job to the track personal for a good show. Wahoo
