(Warrensburg) Central Missouri Speedway is proud to honor our Active Duty, Reserve, Guard and Military Retirees with Armed Forces Appreciation Race Night on Saturday, June 10th. Grandstand admission for our honorees will be one half off the normal admission price. This week the 305 Sprints will be racing for bonus Contingency Connection prizes and awards at Central Missouri Speedway during their feature event. Josh Fisher from Smithton had been dominant over the past four weekends with several other young hot shoes including Christi Hoenshell shooting for him at the high banks of CMS.

The Streets Stocks are also an extremely competitive class with Warrensburg’s Jay Lyle leading the pack with Bobby Raybourn close behind. Raybourn ran a smart race last weekend and ended up finishing third while gaining valuable points on Lyle.

The Limited Late Models put on a good show as well with Smithville’s Brett Rollert climbing to just seven points behind the leader Owen Evinger. Rollert won two of the last thee races while Evinger is hanging on to his slim lead. Last weekend the race fans saw Danny Monroe taking the checkers for the first time this year in the Late Model division.

Tony Nelson from Blue Springs now finds himself leading the newly added B-Modified division point standings. Nelson has been steadily improving over the past several weeks and is now leading John Ake and Wayne Stevens after his second place finish last week.

The Mighty Modified division is led by the hot driver out of Sedalia, Joe Bradshaw with Jim Moody from Odessa close behind in the points chase. Bradshaw battled with Dave Meyer, Aaron Marrant and Moody last Saturday for a down to the wire photo finish with the crowd wildly cheering on their favorite drivers.

You don’t want to miss the hot racing action at Central Missouri Speedway with gates opening at 5, hot laps at 7 and the first green flag heat races at 7:30. Central Missouri Speedway is located just off of 13 Hwy four miles north of Warrensburg or 14 miles south of I-70. Check out the latest race results and track information by calling the Track Report at (660) 747-2166 by visiting us online at www.centralmissourispeedway.net.
