The O’Reilly POWRi presented by Lucas Oil Midget and Outlaw Micro Sprint Series head back to Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL on Wednesday August 6th for the Arnie Knepper Memorial sponsored by Stein Automotive. This event is held in conjunction with the St. Clair County Fair. Belleville’s Brett Anderson holds a 120 point lead over 2007 POWRi midget champ Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO heading into the event. Zach Daum of Pocahontas, IL, Derek King of Vienna, IL and Mike Hess of Petersburg, IL follow close behind. Defending Micro Sprint Champion Derek King also holds a comfortable 360 point lead in the standings but only 100 points separate second through seventh which includes Jacob Patton, Ryan Langston, Eric Edwards, Ryan Guyett, Tony Roney and Brad McDaniel going into the Belle-Clair event.
Belle-Clair pit gates open at 1:00 PM and general admission opens at 4:00 PM. Hot laps begin at 6:00 PM with racing at 7:00 PM. General admission tickets are $12 each with kids 6 and under free.
