At a Glance: Second Annual Las Vegas Super Sprint Classic

WHAT
The Second Annual Las Vegas Super Sprint Classic will bring the World of Outlaws back to The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, February 26, as the state-of-the-art half-mile hosts the best sprint car drivers in the world. Donny Schatz, the four-time and defending series champion was victorious last season in the series return to Las Vegas for the first time since 2006, and has won each of the last two races that the series has contested at the track. Schatz already has one win this season as does his Tony Stewart Racing teammate, 20-time World of Outlaws champion Steve Kinser. The pair along with 2001 series titlist Danny Lasoski have each won six times in their career at Las Vegas to lead all drivers.
WHEN
On Friday, February 26, the pit gates will open at 11 a.m. Pacific, with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Pacific. Hot laps are tentatively set for 6:30 p.m. Pacific with time trials to follow and heat races set for 8 p.m. Pacific.
WHERE
The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, is located approximately 17 miles northeast of Las Vegas on I-15 at exit 54 (Speedway Blvd.), then east.
TICKETS
On Friday, February 26, adult tickets will be $35 with tickets for children (ages 6-12) $8. A special two-night ticket is available for $49 for adults and $12 for children (ages 6-12), which includes admission to the World of Outlaws event on February 26, as well as the opener of the Las Vegas Super Sprint Classic which features the USAC Sprint Cars and Midgets on February 25.
