Note from Kevin Gundaker Re: Hornets/Pro-4/Factory Stock at Tri-City Speedway
Were having a vote at the rules meeting on Sunday
January 25th. If we have a good interest and see we can get more than 10-12 we will keep the class.

We want to keep the class, but we need support from the drivers. Were changing the purse to $100 to
win and $25 to start.

Need to get ahold of drivers and have them attend the meeting your votes will make a big impact on whether we keep the class or not.

Thanks
Kevin

All 4-cyl cars planning to race part or full time at Tri-City; I urge you to please show up at the rules meeting. This class allows our future racer to get the experience they need on the way to the higher classes and at the same time allowing the budget racer to have a chance to race when they might not get to race otherwise. I strongly believe for every year that the Gundaker’s run the Factory Stocks they are investing in the future of their race track. If you agree then let your voice be heard and cast your vote at the meeting or if you cant possibly make it then give them a call or e-mail.

Rob Shaw

January 25th - Rules Meeting at Hilltop Auction & Banquet Center in Alton, IL at 1pm

I will have a least 1 car there a night one way or the other and also have two buddys of mine that will have 1 car there on the majority of the nights.

I will be racing there full time I am in the process of getting another car ready so good possibilty I will have 2 cars there. I also know 2 of my freinds will have there cars there

We normally run at Pevely I-55 but we do come out to Tri-City on occasion. This year we're going to be running 6-7 cars at Pevely, so who knows??? But it would be nice to have the option of going to Tri-City at least. I hope they run there!

Jackie,

You may want to advise them ahead of time if you guys are planning on going over to Tri-City more than once or twice next season. That will give them plenty of time to beef up their emergency rescue team.

After Gerald's last appearance over there, they may need to know in advance.:D

where has kevin posted this

It was under the post "2009 Tri-City Speedway Special Events Preliminary Schedule!" I asked if he would be running hornets and he ended up sending me a private message so I posted it so others could see what his awnser was.

Gary...ur soooo mean!! At least we'd keep the emt's in a job! LOL (j/k) Never a dull moment w/ us?!? And at least we only have accidents by ourselves...(and with tires in the middle of the track) nobody else is involved! LOL:D

I would like to make it there at least once, but with my job its hard for me to get there on a Friday evening. Thats one reason why I go to Pevely.

sounds kind of shady sending a pm to someone to let hornet drivers know that there was going to be a vote on if they were going to run them or not instead of making a post makes me think kevin really didnt want that many drivers at the rules meeting so the vote would fail if he was wanting to do this they should have had a vote right after the season like the rules meeting should be
because i know some guys built two cars before one for tricity and for highland because of gear ratio

i forgot most realtors are shady

For those interested; the rules meeting went well today. The 4-cyl class will stay at TCS and they are working out the details in plans to schedule a couple of $1000 to win shows for 09’. Thank you to everyone who showed up to support the 4-cyls and good luck on your upcoming season at Tri-City.:)

ARE my car's legal

I might bring my cars up there if they are legal, how about it shaw 18 racing? I have all of them up and running again after I blew them up last season. I should say I blew three of them up, and my brother and one of the other drivers blew the other two up. holla back!!
