Autographs before Racing

First off, I am not much of a "Pitdrifter". Friday at Tri-City will be my first time to buy a pitpass for my son and I. My son is asking me if the drivers will sign the pictures he has of some of them. So, my question is, are drivers receptive to signing autographs before the Hot Laps start? Or is this not cool? Unfortunately he has to leave at 10pm or we would do it after. Thanks for any info.
 
Drivers normally don't mind, but sometimes they are busy and come off as rude if you interrupt them. Good luck, you guys should be fine.
 
they would be more than happy to do that for ur boy. my boy got all there autograph when the lucas oil was there and they were more than happy to do that for him and the kids. so go ahead and start askin.
 
most the drivers would be more than happy to do it for ya. another thing make sure you know ahead of time what all papers you have to sign to get your kid in. i know some tracks make you have a written release from both parents and some only one. im not sure about tri city though.
 
Thanks everyone for the info. Anybody know if both parents have to sign a release at Tri-city for their child to get in the pits?
