Were talking about adding the B-Modifieds to our 2011 remaining schedule

To be honest....i think you could run them weekly and draw a good class of cars. But....would add to the time of your show as well. Glad to see this class is asked to run this year......ill watch them

These would be the basic B-Mod rules:

1 - 2500lbs after race w/driver
2550lbs after race w/driver with Bert or Brinn Transmission
2300lbs after race w/driver with 602 GM Crate Motor
2350lbs after race w/driver with 602 GM Crate Motor with Bert or Brinn Transmission

2- Gauge Legal Holley 500 2-Barrel---NO Aerosals!

3- Fuel will be GAS Only! No Nitrous or Fuel Additives Allowed

4- Tires- Hoosier E-Mod 26.5 or 27.5 “A or H” Compound or Hoosier IMCA ONLY!
Siping will be Allowed. NO Softening or Chemical Altering Allowed!
Grooving on the Hoosier IMCA tire will be allowed.

5- NO Quickchange Rearends

6- Engines- Cast Iron Block & Heads ONLY! No Aluminum Blocks or Heads Allowed!!

7- NO Roller Camshafts or Rev-Kits will be Allowed

8 - A 5” Rear Spoiler will be Allowed

9 - ALL OTHER BODY & CHASSIS RULES WILL BE THE SAME AS THE
BASIC UMP A-MOD RULES!

You add us for a one time show, and i will absolutely be there! not going to travel every week, but I definatley enjoy the trip once a year.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! John Hahler 91H will be there! It says Hoosier IMCA tires allowed with siping, what about grooving? it's legal at Farmington..
 
That is true, most of the guys at farmington have their tires grooved. Even grooved, the IMCA tire is nowhere close to the E-mod.
 
if the local tracks around here would run these on a weekly basis i would build/buy one! we need another class to run around the stl area beings that the sportsman class is a dieing class around here

I know 2 other guys that would move from ss to b mods if a class was added locally on a weekly bassis!!
 
I totally agree. I know of several..including my dad....who has a mod and would love to run it as a b mod. Cheaper......easier on equipment...well unless you crash...lol. When godfrey ran them.....they had just as many b mods as they did a mods on most nights.
