At 7;15 the great promoter Charlie Depew, decides to cancel races.Yea 7:15 Way to go Charlie its not like we had other things to do or other tracks to race.

Im sure he was working hard on the track to make it raceable for the racers...and Godfrey did the same and waited on some cars that were coming from that direction.

I wouldn't say he was working hard on the track...more like workin hard on getting the pits worked in....track was too soft to really do anything with.
