Shannon Babb of Mowequa, Illinois took the $10,000 payday in the UMP Summer National stop # 8 at the Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday night June 24, 2006. Babb took the win over Dennis Erb Jr., Jeep VanWormer, Randy Korte, and Steve Sheppard Jr. This win was Babb’s fourth on the 2006 UMP Summer Nationals tour which competes in 29 races over 30 days. Babb had also took wins at Boswell, Indiana; Peoria, Illinois; and Macon, Illinois before stopping at the Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway. There were 33 entries from 7 states represented. Heat Race winners were Wendell Wallace, Rodney Melvin, Jeep VanWormer, and Randy Korte. The B-Mains were won by Randle Sweeney and Brian Shirley.

Clayton Miller of Elkton, Kentucky took the UMP Open Wheel Modified Feature event win over Charles Zimmerman, Gregg Brown, Lucas Lee, and Curt Cherry. The Dash event was won by Clayton Miller, and Heat wins were taken by David Flowers and Mitchell Burkhart.
Kyle Fleming took the Mini Mod A-Feature event over Ronnie Richardson, Michael Perrigo, Kenneth Knight Sr., and Ronnie Melton rounding out the top-five.
Ryan Langston, driving the # 9L sprint car, took the Outlaw Mini Sprint A-Feature event win over Matt Baker, Chris Hunter, Stephen Schnapf, and Ed Mummert. The Heat races were won by Ryan Langston and Chris Hunter.
Charles Zimmerman, a man on a mission this season at Clarksville StormPay.com Speedway, took the Pro-Street A-Feature event win over Joeseph Hamm, Anthony Manzella, Ben Britt, and John Maines. Zimmerman was also Fast Time of the night.
Michael Rittenberry captured the Pure Mini Stock A-Feature event win. Rittenberry took the win over Michael Bottom, Richard Champagne, Travis Treat, and James Lovelady.
The Street Stock preliminary Heat races were won by Michael Byard and Michael Neighbors. Neighbors would go on to win the A-Feature event in the 16 car field over Don Everett, Ricky Wood, Joe Wilson, and Chris Peltier.
