Bedrock Practice confusion

jmo

if you only in it to win it ,money, dont race at all!!!!!!!!!
my sone 6 years old races road coarse and dirt oval it cost me more to race on the road corse than dirt but he has 10 times more fun on the road coarse. if you want pay out go to stock cars

This has gotten out of hand

The man stated his openion and in no way mentioned a specific track or owner if anything JYI was more implacated and he now has everybody getting defensive and jumping down his throat. Unfortunaty we will never have kart counts like they do in the south to have the good paydays. Things could be better here but they could also be alot worse we have nice tracks to race at and I am thankful for that. Kram57 there is money to be made in go karting but not here. Go down south and spend a weekend and I bet you will find 4 or 5 tracks to race at with in 2 hours of each other and all with 300 to 500 to win with 40 to 50 karts per class. We do not have the interest in karting in this area for the big payday races and if a track does put one on. It usually gets out of hand with rough driving and nobody want to go because of it. Lets all just let this blow over and look foward to the racing season starting. Thanks all and have a great week, Johnny5 is alive

Alrtight this is my summary and im going to stop posting so take it for what u want:eek:
I there r 20 Karts show up in a class versus 10 in a class there is a big difference at a $20.00 dollar race fee/ $200.00 versus $400.00 in the pot.
Tell me that u cant pay the winner more money cause rather the extra karts showed up or not the payout would be the same at 10 karts. maybe some people reading this post can understand what i am talking about.

As for racing to win! i geuss im guilty of that cause who likes to lose but it would be nice to get a little back of what u put in and everybody will agree to that.

The point is the tracks down south get the crowds cause they payout and it keeps people interested due to there being somewhat of a end result rather they ever win or not its a peice of mind. So if a track got a reputation of paying alittle u could bring up the interest of kart racing.

* so if u need a calculater to figure this out i will loan u one, my point is if u r getting 10 karts per class set a cap! anytime there r 12 or more an extra $50.00 to win. if there r not 12 karts in the class u can keep the entry fee u didnt have.

this is like that energizer bunny commercial, he just keeps on going and going and going. sorry johhny 5, i couldnt resist and stay away.
well, now that you keep bringing up the payouts, why not pay all the racers, even the last place karts? they shouldnt go home empty handed either. they invest just as much energy and time as the winners. well, most of them.

this kind of excitement might bring my crippled -ss out of hiding. im going to have to come watch these guys race.
I knew I missed the sport.

i cant speak for the rest of the guys but im just an overgrown child.
but i do want to see this 4tobin guy race to see if he is as good as he seems to be. I may have to throw in some extra $ to see if he can actually win. good luck to all you guys, especially you, tobin.

He is good

I personally learned more form him in about 2 hours than in my first year of racing. I have seen him lost at a track but it doesnt happen often. Andy

Thank you,
The whole reason for any of my posts were to state my opinions on payouts, it would really be nice for the tracks around here see the kart counts in the 100s for a local night and see how we size up. I for one can admit i go to these races like springfield and duqoins money races and get wore out. I figure if the kart counts go up so will the competition, thats why my suggetion was to raise the payout. But thanks for the posts anyhow! i like the DRAMA:eek:

Method to your madness?
