Livin' the dream.........
everyone for coming out Friday night. The racing in several classes was pretty darn good.

Thanks again and hope to see everybody back for the season finale the 24th,
Tobias

I like to say that the track was in excellent shape. Good Job.

I have one suggestion for the clone class when you race the lights, Medium, and the heavy's together to make the weight on a level playing field. It is pretty hard to race against the light class (325) when your weighting in at 369. So if you do race them together maybe make a balance weight of 350 or more to help out with the medium and heavy class.

This is not to bash the track it is only a suggestion.

Yes great job on the track. It was smooth and very fast. It was really nice that they started on time and kept things moving all night as well. I agree with Keith about the weight when combining classes. They combined stock lights and mediums but the lights did not have to add weight. Hopefully they reconsider the new spin rule for next year. I see that causing a lot of rough driving and tore up karts.

Thank you all for the positive feedback on the racing surface. All the credit goes to Frank for teaching me how to make it right.

About the weight thing when combining classes, normally the racers get together and find a solution. The track only groups them together when there aren't enough to make seperate classes.

We'll see how the spin run comes about. I think what Van has in mind will be ok once everybody understands what will and won't be tolerated.

It is the only way to prevent weekly arguments with people who do not agree with calls. Believe me, there is at least 1 argument a week because we didn't see something, or we don't pay attention, or we need a new flagman...remember, the main flagman still has the black flag and will use it if need be.

Thanks,
Justin Anderson

Keith,

Did mediums have enough to make a class? Were you scored with the lights, or with the mediums running with the lights? Typically, if one class doesn't have enough karts to make a class, we just let them run with the closest class available. It's hard to make the light class add weight when they have enough to make a class, many of them have been setup to run 325 all year, and many of them are running for points.

If mediums had enough to make a class, then you should have been scored separately even though you were on the track with the lights.

Thanks,
Justin

Justin, There were three lights and three mediums. So I believe we could have been our only class. I will be back to the track, it was in excellent shape. I can race in the med class and not mind being a little over weight but not in the light class. I will bring the flat head next time.

Thanks for listen Justin.

Keith
