If you guys want to reschedule the last race to suit your own interests then points should be OVER. Some people have supported your race track all year, and for many years, and have already committed to other races the weekend of September 8th.

Read my other post. Changing dates affects many racers in all classes, not just Jimmy Cummins and Doug Tye in the B-Mod class. I actually wonder how many other racers will not be able to make the changed date of Sept. 8?

I totally agree with Jimmy above....if you want to change the date of the "FINAL POINTS RACE" then do not count that different date for track points. Go ahead and race but don't count points. How is this any different from last year when they just ended the season with no final points race?

And, if you can't find my other post, here is it...

Like I mentioned above... if it's important to them they will be there...

Priorities

big swig, You are just making me mad!

Jimmy has traveled to this race the last 3 years. He really enjoys it and has talked 4 other racers from here to go with him to experience "the Thunder " themselves. Before going, he always checks the schedules with local tracks for conflicts. There weren't any conflicts until tracks start changing the dates of their final races.

Last year Highland changed the date of the Robertson Memorial Race to a date that Jimmy would be gone to Wisconsin. Consequential? I don't know, but it sure looked like it. The 2nd place car, owned by Robertson, won the B-Mod championship then. All Jimmy had to do was drive his car onto the track for show-up points and the championship was his in 2016. But Jimmy decided to go to Wisconsin to a race that he and his Dad had planned on for months. Not fair, not right, but it happened. We move on but don't forget.

Now this year, Belleville moves the final points race to another date, and then another date. Guess when their final date is...during the week that Jimmy and his Dad and Doug Tye will be racing in Wisconsin. Again, Jimmy checked with AARA and made sure the final points night was before the week that he was scheduled to go to Wisconsin. All was good. Just so happens that Jimmy led the points at Belleville all season! Good for him. He deserves the championship. In fact, as we figure it, all he has to do to win is finish 15th in the last points race to win the B-Mod championship! Doug Tye has 3rd place now but won't if he can't race the final points night race.

This changing of scheduled dates at one track because another track makes a decision to add a class of cars without consideration of surrounding tracks is disgusting, disheartening, and embarrassing to our sport of stock car racing. Just stick with your night! Stop pitting tracks against each other as this is surely a dying sport today.

AARA and Belle-Clair Speedway...stick to your guns and stay on your scheduled Sept. 1st night of racing. We can fill the stands if we advertise it and talk to all those people who say they want to go to the races, used to go to the races but don't anymore, never know when we are racing, and just don't think about it.

Lower the admission price to $12.00 for the final points night (because Tri-City is charging $20.00 for their show) and fill the stands with people who don't want to see the racing stop at good old Belle-Clair Speedway. How about it?

I understand the frustration, but every track has " SUBJECT TO CHANGE" on their schedules. If the track is doing so because they feel its best I can't blame them. Now the situation mentioned at the other track last year, that's BS if true.

It's not just about you jimmy..

What's best for the track is to change the date... This is belle Clair not jimmy Cummins raceway

His mommy won't be happy to find out this isn't Jimmy Cummings Raceway!!!!!!!

What a mess.Belle-Clair again caters to TCS instead of it's own fans and drivers. This whole season has been a joke. How many races have actually been run?Not even "Arnie Knepper Memorial"let alone any other Midget race.No wonder the seats have been empty the few nights they bothered to open.

Do you ever get tired of complaining about Belle Clair. I guess when you are good at something stick with it.

Just stating the obvious. How many nights has Belle-Clair opened this season? How many Fri.nights has it been dark?Great job!!

All of you Internet "promoters" just make me shake my head. What a bunch of know it all, constant complainers. You should all be thankful someone has volunteered their time and their bank account just to make you whiny people happy.
Funny thing is it's the sasaaaaame people bitching all the time.

"Just stating the obvious. How many nights has Belle-Clair opened this season? How many Fri.nights has it been dark?Great job!!"
Tell you what "i refin" why dont you pick a Friday night you think there should be racing at Belle Clair, any Friday you want, 100+ degree heat, eminent rain, or the PERFECT Friday night for racing based on your years of expert race track promoting and your extensive understanding of racing economics. Then go to Kenny and Brian and give them the $ needed to open the gate say it's $17,000 and at the end of the night you get to keep all of the money that is left at the end of the night or lose the $ not left over

RACIN 911 hit it on the head. Same person over and over. The old another nail in the coffin and another black eye for Belle Clair. I truly believe he wants us to fail. Sometimes you have to make business decisions that are unpopular from time to time. You cant say well lets lose thousands of dollars, but at least we can say we raced. Not smart. Good way to shut race tracks down. You cant argue with this guy and truthfully not worth the time. I help Kenny run this place for fun. Not for the great riches that are ahead. i truly appreciate the racers and fans who spend their money at Belle Clair. Unfortunately for my buddy, I Refin we will be back next year too.

Thanks

OpenWheelBT, please clarify that Pro4s are running or not. Was told by you that they were not. Quite a few of us are running points at both Tri-City and Belle-Clair. I know the racing world does not revolve around us, but kinda a bum deal. Thanks
