BellevilleBomberJeff talked to me at Highland on Saturday night. He's having trouble posting on his computer at home. He tried to post the Purestock results but it wouldn't work. I told him if he can e-mail them to me, I will post them for him. :D

So much trouble because one stubborn man can't do the complete job of reporting all the classes satisfactorily the first time. Pity! :eek:

It was Larry Smith, Jack O.

Same post for the last ten years? What do you mean by that? In 1998 there was a whole different group of drivers racing in this class. My son, Jimmy, didn't start racing a "Bomber" until late August & September of that year. Sammy Castiller was racing, as well as, Pat Seymour, Mike Seymour, Bob Capps, Jim Hearty, Richard Crowell, Bobby Dees, Jr., and Bobby Goodman. Many of these guys are still racing -- in different classes today, some not at all anymore. The names change, Jack O.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch used to publish the results in their paper under the heading FOR THE RECORD, MOTOR SPORTS, but not anymore. You won't even include their names in your results post on stlracing.com. These guys get no respect from you. But they sure do get respect from their fans.
