Belle Clair Speedway Summer Nationals

Based on some longer range forecasts, the Belle Clair Speedway Summer National event could hot, but dry. It would be nice to be able to get out of this weather situation and let the Summer Nationals happen without the threat of weather. Let's plan on attending and fill the track to watch some great racing. There have been no repeat winners some far.

Previous winners of the Summer Nationals appearance at Belle-Clair include Bobby Pierce (2014), Brandon Sheppard (2013), Jason Feger (2012), Ryan Unzicker (2011), Dennis Erb, Jr. (2010, 2009), and Will Vaught (2008).
 
Look at the years of who won the prior years of this event. It does show Erb winning two years in a row.
 
Some 2015 Hell Tour numbers.. 6 different winners. Only 6 drivers traveling to all shows. Car counts have been 29,29,21,25,22,25. Where are all the cars at?
 
Weather may have something to do with the car counts, but I was wondering about that as well. Maybe after this weekend that will pickup as the weather will change for the better.
 
Babb is gonna be off tour for a couple of nights...BShepp and Erb doing lucas oil Korte used to do them all... he retired... I hate to say it but the summer nationals are just not what they used to be
 
UMP once did a fuel program where the top 5 in points received 100 dollars cash after each race. Those in point standings 6th through 10th received 75 dollars cash. Sam screwed that deal up and it went away. It's tough to afford fuel and tires on this thing.

That's why cost containment is so important. That has always been my beef with UMP. They allowed this to happen. It doesn't need to be that way. One tire.....tremendous weight breaks or more spoiler for steel motors, crate motors etc. standard shocks with sanction claim. I could go on and on.
 
Erb only won back to back because he hit Korte on parade lap and cut his tire down so we had to pit and pulled out on track after they threw the green and still came to the front!!!!

I agree with you 100% you sir are spot on. It's time to get someone in charge that can turn this around.

Please go on and on. I think there are plenty of guys that would like to hear how things could be done differently.

Yep another bad move by UMP! There is no incentive to run the who deal anymore. I would do a 20 race deal with Sunday and Monday as off days but, possibly used for rain dates but, 20 races in 28 days with Friday and Saturday paying 10,000 and the weekday paying 7,500. Need a title sponsor so the points payout could be better for the guys 6 through 20. 50,000 To win the whole deal wouldn't hurt either. That's why a title sponsor would be needed.
