Belle-Clair Speedway will not be Racing this Friday July 27th.

We will hope to return racing next Friday August 3rd Scouting Night! All Scouts in Uniform get in Free! Plus other Cool chances for troops and Packs to get $$$ for their Programs!

We are working on a revised schedule for the rest of 2012

We are also currently working on a Hot weather program idea that makes more fiscal sense. i will be checking with some of the racer's on their opinions to the idea in the coming week!

Please remember while revising the schedule that most every week race car drivers have delayed their family vacations until mid-late September when the regular season is over. I am not sure what revisions you were planning but just wanted you to keep that in mind if you were thinking off adding any races at end of season.

Thanks Donnie! I hope the weather will be slightly cooler next week. I also hope to bring my 2 (or possibly 3) German exchange students from our sister city of Porta Westfalica, Germany, and some of their Waterloo host families with me next week to watch my Jimmy race at Belle-Clair Speedway. Hopefully he'll have that Modified monster fixed and ready to go racing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all you do to make racing possible for racing fanatics like us. I appreciate it!

Thanks for the early announcement don, as the humidity is gonna be very high tomorrow. Hope it's alright I throw this out there, but for you die hard fans there is a track that has no curfew and can start at a later time. So give don the pat on the back before you all get upset. But also for you die hard fans and drivers in need of another small track, Jacksonville is having a 2000 to win 200 to start late model, 3000 to win and 300 to start mowa sprints they will be running ump mods, but don't know the pay as it weren't posted so before you all go changing gears, look up Jacksonvilleispeedway.com for directions. It's a quarter mile track.

Modifieds 500 to win and 100 to start. No one gonna stop you 4 bar if you wanna go sit in the bleachers at BC by yourself. In fact why don't you get there about 11 am maybe we'll find you there next Friday dehydrated, lol

belleville is my home track. i will go there first before going else where. im disappointed in the decision BUT, im not gonna get pissed at don for making this choice. ill go to try city tomorrow and be ready for bell vegas next week. hope we can get them in. all in all, i think don has done an awesome job with the track and will continue to support belle clair speedway.

Just curious, what is your ideal temperature for us fans and drivers to get to enjoy some awesome side by side racing again?

It was only 86 last Friday so I would like to no that my self .

What is it that you don't get that it also has something to do with finances? It's been posted many times here before and I'm sure you've seen it. I'm sure Don would be happy for you to come forward and sponsor a race or two. Give Don a call and let him know you have a few thousand dollars available to send him.

Your just an idiot, we have a good question and if it's for finances it sux but don him self didn't say he was strapped, just other idiots like you have. So if you don't have a question are comment go do what you do best, crawl in your closet and try one more time.

Get your pencils and calculators out. We are having a Math/Small Business refresher course,OK!..Can someone volunteer to lead us to the promised land?..;)

Yes, it has been stated by Don that it is also bc of finances. Richiefor20 isnt making it up. This is all common sense here. If Don cant make 17-18k a night then he is in the hole. So with hot weather the fan count is extremely low. Just bc some people are die hard race fans doesnt mean they all are. Some would rather not come sit in 90+ degree weather. So why should he still run on nights like this knowing he was going to lose $3k+?? Doesnt seem like rocket science to me. He has been trying his hardest to keep belleville going but yet alot dont seem to appreciate it. He is doing great for the little income he has at the track. So how about for once ya thank him for what he has done instead of complaining about his decision. BTW if Don didnt take over the track 2 years ago the place probably wouldnt be open right now bc i am sure no one else would have taken over and the fairgrounds is done with running the financial part of the race track. So just take the good with the bad and be thankful that the track is still around.

Thank you to Mr. Hoener for doing your damnest to keep an institution like Belle-Clair up and running. And thank you Weatherman for telling it like it is.

Hey Pony...
Didn't mean to upset you. Don isn't going to come on here and talk about track finances same as you wouldn't come on here and discuss yours.

tommy,,you might find this a bit hard to take from me but i agree with you 100%,,don has a thick skin to put up with the crap being dished out on this site,,but he might just say "C" ya all.. but then ya all can come watch me race at fayette co....

And that is all I asked, and I put in an earlier post that it was a good idea with the humidity being so high. An idea question of what temp will he consider running, I'm sure is on everyone's mind.
