Belle-Clair SUMMER NATIONALS LM driver list

Ya i remeber in 2002 when Shriley would come to Belleville. Who knows who will all be there with 500$ to start and a chance to win 6000$ your dumb not to come.

Brian Shirley and Terry English both said they would be there for the SN Race tonight. They also both said this would be only their second trip to Belle-Clair Speedway.

Kevin Claycomb said last night he was skipping Belle-Clair.. Hopefully he changes his mind.

The #12 of Jordan Bland has added all SN races to his site. So expect to see him @ Highland and Belleville.

Patrick Sheltra does not have a ARCA race until the 29th of June. He to may be a possibility.

Jordan has been doing fair and as long as he does not tear anything up to bad or blow another motor they will continue to run the races. They blew a brand new motor at Kentucky Lake with 13 laps on it, so that put them down a motor. They are great bunch of people so if you get a chance to say hi to him and his family make sure you do. In case some of you do not know his sister, Jefra is Ms Eldora Speedway for 2008.

Darren Miller

When I left the shop last night, Darren was finishing prep work on a car for his first visit to Belle-Clair tonight. Don't hold me to it, because with Darren, if you don't actually see which direction he pulls down the road, you never really know for sure. But that was the plan. Belle-Clair, Mt. Vernon, Farmer City S/N's, then either Pevely or WDRL at Freeport Sat. night.

A friend of ours made a comment today that he thought 1/2 the drivers we had last night would not be at Belleville tonight..I am hoping he is very wrong said he saw it on line I don't see any post stating this..hopefully we have a great show tonight with a huge turnout..see ya all there..

Last time Korte was there he cried that Kreke took him out!! Takes alittle bit more than a fast car to win at Belle-Clair!

Brian said tonight at Highland that he has only been to Belle-Clair once before.

I am pretty sure that is not the case. Hate to call the guy a liar, but I remember him running belleville quite a bit in 2002, and I checked the past results on whowon.com just to make sure I wasn't getting him mixed up with Mark Steinwagner.

Well maybe he has short term memory loss, because I asked Brian Shirley (you are talking about Brian Shirley correct, I mean I know there is more than one Brian in racing) personally if he had ever raced at Belle-Clair Speedway and said "once"! But Michelle Petroff would be able to answer this question better than anyone else I am sure :). Michelle what is the real answer?

I also asked Terry English the same thing and he also answered "once". Maybe they all wanted to give the same answer:confused:

8 are better than 4. thats the belleville way. this is the only show Kreke might have a chance making the top 5. you use more driving skills at the local family fun time go cart track.

This was also the same year that UMP put up the $1,000,000 point fund. $100,000 for the UMP Latemodel Champ UMP Modified Champ and UMP Summernationals Champ. The Summernationals that year hosted a stellar field of cars. I wish UMP would give the big name drivers an incentive to race the series again like they did that year.

This was also the same year Brian won the Macon Speedway track championship and UMP Rookie of the Year.

Yes I would like to apologize to you, I looked and Shirley was 16th at Belle-Clair with 326 in 2002 and you do not get that many points in one night, so I guess Shirley does not remember. I was just relaying what he personally said.
