Belle-Clair's Stockcar Season Finale includes Championship Races for all classes This Friday! Plus K

If you posted that thinking i would get offended and have a war back and forth you are wrong. Actually kinda put a smirk on my face to see that you are so bent out of shape over my posting. Thanks!

But here are some answers to statements you made. I have not raced a full season this year at Belleville because i put together a pure stock to have some fun with over the winter. Well then fell into a good deal on a trade for another sportsman. Ran that a couple night and sold it after a wreck in Pevely. Awhile after that i was given the chance to drive the 44 car at Belleville and have been since. So thats why i have only ran about 3/4's of the season at Belleville this year. For the past "x" amount of years i have run a full schedule at Belleville.

Would i still complain if i were in the top 5 in points? You bet i would. In fact i have for the past couple years now. I am not looking out for myself but looking out for the track itself. I dont want to see Belleville go anywhere. So i voice my opinion on what i feel is the best and as we have seen many others agree to. But then some disagree and thats why they are called opinions. If you would read all my posts you would see that my arguement isnt about me looking out for myself but for me stating what i think is the right thing for the track to do to bring in more cars which in turn bring in more people to the stands which means making more money. Something the track hasnt made alot of this year. Why would i want someone to feel sorry for me?

And no i will stick to Belleville instead of Highland. Hometown track and love racing there. Just dont agree on some of the decisions here lately.

BTW never claimed that i was the brightest cookie so maybe i do have a "smallbrain".....:)

Tommy, for BC being your hometown track, love racing there, etc, etc... yadda yadda, talking outta both sides of your mouth thing, all of whatever you think you are doing on here doesn't help anything for the track which you love so much. In fact, I believe the past 2 weeks you have done nothing but degrade, complain, and say how bad things are about this track which you love so much. SO... like i have said in another thread, anything you may think is "constructive" on a forum is actually the latter. How about take your biased opinion of things you think aren't right and are hurting the track you love so much, and talk to someone face to face about them. I garuntee bringing up whatever you feel isn't right, will be taken into consideration, looked at and cared about way more than the Bull S you constantly spew on this "constructive" forum.

Good luck to all on Championship night!

Joe Hoener

Your suffering is almost over...only one more night to Pi$$ and Moan about BC, AARA and Pig in a Poke...after Friday night this will all be history. Next year only the strong tracks with deep pockets will survive (TCS and I-55). Then you can move on, regroup and prepare to Pi$$, Moan and Beach about them too.

Nuff said!!!
b s plain bs and by thelooks of the crowds you missed a track highland now how about them apples

Ok i have another question in regards to the way that they will be lined up and or locked in. I will use myself as an example in the situation. I am 16th in points right now. If 4 of the cars in front of me in points dont show up then does that mean i am "locked" into the feature?

You should be locked in if that happens..when we raced midseason night, Wade was something like 20th in points, but when you counted down the top 12 that were present that night, he was the 12th car down, and started 12th in the feature that night.

I totally understand why the decision was made, but I know our car is staying home now..we're so far back in points because we had so many things break this year that we just couldn't afford to race every week..no sense in bringing the car and starting behind everyone. Is it the choice I would have made? No, but I wouldn't want to be the one making it either..Allied takes a lot of unneccesary crap from a lot of people, I certainly wouldn't take it. Thank you Allied for announcing your decision, we look forward to watching the last night at Belleville in 2010!!

Car count or not, I've said for two years that the track championship night should be run by those cars that have raced at that track at least a certain% of the nights ran. Don't you have to run a number of nights to be eligible for track money at the end of the year?
What's the purpose of running the heat race Friday night, run hot laps and lock in top 20 cars and go from there. Will the cars that didn't run at BC all year be teched before races start??

First of all thanks for your opinion Joe. You are allowed one just like i am. Of coarse your opinion will differ from mine being Donnie is your dad. So obviously your not going to like my opinion. Yes, belleville is my hometown track and i love it but that doesnt mean i cant give my opinion on the way it is being run. My opinions are trying to give a idea on a way to draw more cars to make belleville more successful. If i was degrading the track i would be telling people not to go there for this reason or that reason. But in fact i am trying to give my thoughts on what i feel is best for the track itself. When things arent going good you need a change. Without change things will not be better. So why get so offend other than bc you are affiliated with AARA? I dont ask for everyone to agree with me but i will speak my mind. I talk to and see a lot more racers throughout the week than you do im sure i MANY feel the same way. Kinda curious to see what the "changes" will be for 2011".

My personal opinion on this week isnt "hurting" the track. But the decision made is going to hurt the track. Less cars and less people in the stands and that is not my doing. Please prove me wrong here but i dont see a good amount of extra cars coming friday in the pure stocks and pro 4's. Thank god though if they do. Then how do you expect me to talk face to face to AARA about a situation that needs to be addressed by this week. Wont see them till friday and by then the decision is made. I highly doubt my little opinion would have been takin into consideration too. Plus everyone always seems "too busy" to discuss anything once we are atthe track. So why not discuss it here where people obviously have more time than at the track. They are on here daily so i am gunna ask. Its not like i hide behind a screen name and "bash" as you say.

Last but not least. I constantly spew BS on here? HAHAHA! Thats funny. Give me a reason to and i will but otherwise i very rarely will get on here to bash. Make a BS rule change or a decision like this and your damn right i will "spew" my thoughts about it. Why should i sit back and not? But before i post anything else did you want me to run it past you first? Or better yet there is that ignore option and you wouldnt have to read anything i post.

Sorry i have ruffled your feathers so much over this. I will make sure i dont ever say anything again to offend you!

Ridinthecushion.....I thought "belleclair promotions" in another thread was asking for more ideas and for people to keep posting them?

It all comes down to what BC's goal was for this final race. Is it to finish the season, crown the champs, stick to their lineup rule and prepare for next year. Or is it to go out with a bang, a full field of cars in each class and make as much money as possible to start off next year strong?

I do not agree with the decision that was made but I do give them props for staying loyal to the cars that have supported them most of the year. However, top 12 is a bit excessive considering only about 6-8 cars raced there on a regular basis.

Good luck next year to BC.

very well put, just what 98% have tried to say to Mr,. Hoener all along. But change just isnt in his vacabulary. Look at what he wears every weekend to the track. 1980 shirt and pants. Well joe i was still going to show up, but since your just that ignorant to figure out what fans and drivers put out there to help you bring in the extra cash flow for next year, is beyond me. I have read every post by smallwood and he hasnt tried bashing you, just tried to help you realize change is important in todays world. Do you still answer your phone from the kitchen wall? Probably. As much as i love this track and LM, Mods, and all the other classes. I will be one to attend a track that features train races on a regular basis, except when the midgetts and sprints run. Oh my luck TCS is running sprints and midgetts that night. Thank God, no train races this weekend at TCS. You all have a great night at BC. Thanks Mr. Hoener for helping me with my decision, as much as i hate to go to a track that produces some of the best train races in missouri. Hope you can maybe wear some red, blue, orange or even green at the awards banquet to prove you want to make a difference next year.

Illinois not missouri, Just a little pi--ed at some officials at BC,

Do you still answer your phone from the kitchen wall?

OK, I answer my kitchen wall phone all the time.....is there something wrong with that? I take offense to this statement!

And I think he should wear some GREEN to the awards banquet so we can match.

Can we just go to the track on Friday and have a good time? I'll be there doing Jr. Fan Club on the back side but Jimmy will be on his way to Indiana, so the 4th Sportsman position will be empty. See all my friends at Belleville this Friday night!

I understand the loyalty side of it, but locking in the top 12 does seem to be a bit much. I can't say I would show up knowing the best I could start in the feature was 13th. Good luck in 2011

"There you go stu, now you can putt around during the heat race, pull out when you fill you got the right set up and start on the front row, yay, for stu. Dont take this wrong stu, i still hope you finish well, you are one of my many favorites, if not my most favorite in the sportsman."

Ptony39 Im glad you wish us well, but exactly when have we "putted around" during a heat race. I work on Stu's car and its been among one of the fastest sportsman cars this year. Evidence is we had a very real shot at the points title this year with 3 feature wins and countless heat wins. So to say we "putted around" confuses me. Yeah my opinion is biased but i dont feel we ever held back. We wont even bother showing up if we arent out there to win.

That being said, your more than welcome to stop in after the races and hang out friday. Myself Stu Cj Matt myself and few others will be around afterward. And that invite goes out to anyone. Last night of the BC season, lets have some fun with it!!!

Yea, did sound as if i said you all did that. Im not the best at grammer. I really just meant to say, Don't tear it up in the heats if you dont have to your on the front roll already. Go get your fourth feature and thank u for the invite look forward to meeting you all after the races.

this is crazy. i agree. lets go enjoy this last race. if someone is thinking bot going down there friday for the first time. might get on here and read all this and say forget that.sounds like a circus. its going to be a great night

The lineups have been this way for years, but the LM's and Mod's have changed for the better. This tomorrow night and the weather looks very good. Since it is the last night of racing for 2010 how about making it a good night.

Forget about these comments and enjoy a night of dirt track racing.

Don, thanks for all the hard work you put in and the interesting nights you put together. Hope you do as well in 2011.

Hey Debbie, I still have a house phone too and it happens to be on my kitchen wall LOL but I usually don't answer it, everyone who wants to talk to me calls my cell phone.

Can I still sit by you tonight since Jimmy is not racing or are you leaving after Jr Fan Club?
