Bellrive and push starting my kart

Thanks for a great night, much better than last. In the feature i was running 4th then spun, Motor died so i parked in the infeild. the i guess i flooded the motor and when i pushed the kart the motor turned over and fired!!! Now i guess im going to have to mash the gas every time i spin so i can get enough gas on top of the piston to push start it :) Haha! I had alot of fun even though we had problems. Thanks to all and congrats to all winners

Yes you better do something with that clutch talkin about major motor problem it sound like you you have a major clutch problem you need to get that looked at and fixed befor your next race

Well it was not the clutch,It was a brand new cheetah clutch, But The "Brand new Dual bearing" motor went BOOM today. I garuntee no1 has had a whole that big before, If the crank wasnt there i could stick my size 13 shoe in there. Rod and piston were in 10+ peices. litterally half the cylinder went through the seat and my jeans. If anyone seen me there you could see in my face how bad it hurt. Not going to say who built the motor. But he was there and i understand he was busy and dont want to badmouth him but i didnt get much assistance. It just really killed me because i spent all my time and money i had saved up to restore my transam on my kart/motor/ and trailer, and it lasted 2 nights. thats less than 100 laps. Didnt even get to make 100 laps. But im not going to sit here and type all night, And i really want to give a BIG thanks to the goodiel team.

Well in practice max was 6300, then it blew up and 6500, I think clones turn 6000, and this thing wouldnt make it over 6500 without throwin everything out of it

Thank you so much and ill let ya know if i can get back on the track this year

For the record that was a Musgrave motor! I heard you talking to Kevin about it! He told you in front of your Dad and Grandma that he would take care of it. What can someone do with a hole in a block at the track?
I honestly don't think Kevin would blow anybody off, there is nothing you can do at the track.
Did you buy the motor directly from Kevins shop anyway?

I no it was a musgrave motor and i got it and a kart from john, But he said something about it had been in kevins shop for awhile, and i no he said hed take care of it, but never said when or what to do about it, So i dont know what im supposed to do for the next couple weeks. Cause i dont have another motor. But i would like to thank daracing ( Ron and dustin) For the offer. Thanks alot guys and i got a list of parts for ya. Well see what we can get together

Also i know theres no warrenties but if you guys want me to post some pics of my piston (in 6 peices) my rod (In 3 peices) and my piston pin (2 peices) and the side cover thats got cracks in it all over the place and the rod bearings that are bent into a complete circle. Also last night i couldve posted one of the oil, Looks new still green, no dirt and not black. So had to be something internally

Ill say this, Ive been with Kevin since 2003 and he has been nothing but good to me and treated me right. And as far as not helping no one out thats bull! Ive seen him help other racer out thats on his stuff before he works on HIS OWN SON KART TO GET HIM FAST!

Thanks Kevin,Jim,Steve,Ben,& Corey
For the win sat. night

Ive been with kevin since around 03 also and hes always been good to me, Never had one explode before, always been fast, And i am not badmouthing his work or respect, I am a believer in his powerplants but i was just saying that i blew one up. I wasnt trying to badmouth him guys he has very fast motors, It could have been a part failure or blem in something that no1 new about, who knows, but its to late now because its gone lol

blaze i think its about time you just end this post because you are definately not getting anywhere.....you are back stepping pretty hard right now!!

blaze are you shur you had oil in the moter. because there was no oil on the track after you brock the moter.

i got oil all over my fire suit and my arm was burnin when it blew. Also there was still oil in the motor before i drained it yesterday (haha i moved the motor forward and drained it into a drainpan like any other motor... forgot it had a huge hole in it!!!) HAHA Blonde Moment
