Checking to see if any Super Late Models would be interested in running at Benton, MO
Friday June 28th. They originally had planned to run Super Late Models along with the Sprints and Modified classes but with the SummerNationals running in Paducah, KY the same night they are having second thoughts. UMP rules...
Still waiting on a call back from the track for the payout.

If they want to have their best shot at getting a good SLM count, why would you run them the night Paducah is paying $10k? (if they have it) Still haven't got to make the trip up to Benton yet, but definitely looking forward to!
 
Went to Haubstadt this past weekend for a two class show, 410 winged sprints (MOWA) and non wing MSCS sprints. Incredible show, packed grandstand and I mean a really good attendance, and out by 10:00p. There's a reason why Haubtadt not only has great attendance but great rep.

We understand and realize that the top Late Model guys will be at the Summer Nationals. However, this is a sponsored race and the sponsors want Late Models. The headliner for that night is the USCS Sprint cars.
 
be a better night to run crates as they wont want to run PIR paying extra for pit passes and running for the same money as always!!!
 
uscs will bring in Derek Hagar, Tim.Crawley, etc - what Farmington cars have committed to.coming down

I wonder how many of the cars that normally run at Farmington have a 360 to throw in the car for the night (an honest question, as it's a 410 track I assume that is what most of the cars are running).

Not very many, the 360s they run these days are expensive to say the least. I know of a couple that might try running the show if they can afford tires for that track..
 
I would not be afraid to bring a crate car to this show as this is not a big horse power track normally, in fact a good crate would probably be an advantage here don't get caught up in the labels of super and crate just get paid more than you normally would for probably the same level of competition
