Local USAC and POWRi driver Zach Daum was taken to a local hospital after a violent flip at Angell Park Speedway this week-end. After being diagnosed with a mild concussion he was released and is currently at home recovering. Here's hoping it's a speedy one buddy, glad you're OK!

Could have been worst, but that is good to hear it was not very serious. After the flip at Belle Clair last year, I would had said he could have been hurt.

Hope you don't miss too many races on your schedule and you recover well and soon.
 
Just heard from Zach today, he will skip the midget race at Angell Park on Saturday, but being the racer he is will return to the track on Sunday in the Silver Crown car at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. Pretty tough cookie......
 
Great... I have been looking forward to seeing Zach and Brad Kuhn both at the mile Sunday night
