On the slate for this Saturday, July 21st at Warrensburg's Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) is KIX 105.7 FM Radio and "Seniors Bring a New Race Friend" night at the races. Seniors 65 and over who bring a new race fan to the track will receive a special admission rate to the races the following weekend! In the coming weeks, CMS has several exciting nights of racing action scheduled starting with next week's "Military Appreciation Night" and $5 general admission for Active, Guard, Reserve and Retired military members. On Saturday, August 4th you'll want to mark your calendars for the exciting return of the Southern Midget Racing Series (SMRS) midgets as they make another appearance at the 'Burg. Then, on Saturday, August 11th one of the most highly anticipated nights of the year will occur when the ever-popular "Kids Night" at the races takes place with foot races on the track and goody bags for all kids 12 and under in attendance plus the ULMA Late Model special 25-lap feature event! All scheduled race nights include Modifieds, ULMA late models, Street Stocks and B-modifieds.

After 12 of 20 weeks have been completed, Harrisonville, Missouri driver 'Smokin' Joe Walker leads the 'Mighty' Modified point standings. Walker has three feature-race victories so far this year, more than any other driver in the division; however, his point's lead is far from comfortable as Sedalia, Missouri driver Terry Schultz, who has a feature win to his credit as well is just 10 points behind. Jim Moody, another previous feature winner sits in third with defending track champion Aaron Marrant of Orrick, Missouri fourth. Dave Meyer of Concordia, Missouri, who won the Memorial Weekend big-money feature, rounds out the top five. For the ULMA Late Models it's last year's champion Brett Rollert of Smithville, Missouri who currently leads a powerhouse trio of drivers at the top. Rollert has claimed three feature race wins so far this year and is trailed by another 2007 feature winner Steven Clancy of Odessa, Missouri by just 16 points. Six-time feature winner Bob King, clearly the hottest driver at the track in the last few weeks is lurking behind the two leaders in third, just ahead of a pair of Warrensburg, Missouri drivers, rookie Brett Wood in fourth and Jon Binning in fifth.

Last week's runner-up finisher in the big-money Street Stock race, Brian Johnson of Independence, Missouri, has seven feature wins so far in '07 and currently leads Fulton, Missouri driver Tammy Korff by 91 markers in second position. Veteran Herb Dannar of Holden, Missouri rides in third with Warrensburg's Chad Eickleberry and Raytown's Brett Nail holding positions four and five. Scotty Martin has dominated the B-modifieds so far in 2007 with 9 feature wins and comfortably leads the division ahead of Kingsville, Missouri driver Michael Mullins in second. Holding down third is 16-year old Ethan Isaacs of Bonner Springs, Kansas with two-time feature winner Brian Ziegler of Bates City, Missouri in fourth and Norborne, Missouri's Phillip Wright fifth.

All racing divisions will be back in action this weekend for a complete four-class program with the mighty modifieds, the ULMA Late models, Street Stocks and B-mods. General admission is 10 dollars with seniors over 65 only 5 dollars. Students and military with ID are 8 dollars, kids 6 to 12 five dollars and children 5 and under are free. For current and up-to-the-minute racing information check back with the track report line or visit us online at www.centralmissourispeedway.net. Admission and Pit Gates open at 5, hotlaps start and 7 with racing action taking to the track at 7:30. We hope to see all of you this Saturday night at the CMS high banks!
