Beware

Well I like to look at it as me "Going the extra mile". I mean he did have a due date of May 15th. It just ****s that I will never do, what I did for Lloyd for anyone else. I try to be a nice guy and help someone out and look what happens. I too have wife, kids, house payment, two car payments, motorcycle payment and so on. I could really use the money.

the troy il/troy mo. thing sounds bogus to me. the post office goes by zip code, and if it was used(as it is 99.9% of the time) it would have gotten there with zip code alone. regardless of which troy appeared in the address. if the street address and the zip code is correct, it will get there. person's name and city/state are not nec. sounds to me like a visit to someone's home is needed.

It sounds like money lost, sorry to hear it.
Maybe EVERYONE should boycott selling anything to Lloyd Donelson, (AKA, Sirquik). When he can't buy used parts to keep his car going maybe he will quit. I, for one, would not sell him anything, even if he had cash.
Please keep us updated.

Roseann did that once she sent the electric bill to the phone co,the phone bill to the water co, the water bill to the electric co,,and didnt sign any of them,,,lol Maybe you should show up at his house with a trailer and get your stuff back,,,, or somthing,,,, It ****s to deal with someone that should be a MAN of his word!!

If I was owed $400 by some red neck, dope smoking, beer drinking bum, I'd take the $400 out on the side of his head, no questions. Just a plain butt kicking right in the middle of the pits.

I already made a trip to his house about a month or so ago and nobody was home. They were camping for the weekend or something. Taking it out of his hide would be something I would do but I have a feeling he would sue me for everything I own, he is one of those people.
I left him several messages throughout this week plus 3 messages on Friday, 3 messages on Saturday, 2 messages on Sunday thats not counting the times I called and didnt leave a message. Still no call back nor my money.
I just hope everyone learns from my mistake. No cash, No sale!

As long as you have proof, you could always take him to small claims court and possibly have it taken it out of his wages. Just a thought.

IF NOTHING ELSE ALL THIS PUBLICITY SHOULD DETER ANY WOULD BE SCAMER RACERS, FROM TRYING TO SCREW ANOTHER RACER. but i dought it will!!!!!! 4 $10 dollars ill kick him in the nuts 4 u lol

I have left SEVERAL more messages with Lloyd and he has not even had the courtesy to return my calls or send the money he owes me. Everyone please beware, and not do business with this man! If he does business like this to someone who does him a favor what do you think he will do to just the average Joe Shmoe.

he hasnt been at the track in the last 6 or 7 weeks either,BUT I wouldnt let it go, looks like it is gettin to the point to give him a visit, he must of fell off the edge of the earth.Maybe trying to give his work a call to see if ya can reach him there.

Let Me Tell You A Story...

This whole string reminds me of a racer who sold a Chevette Mini-Stock to me several years ago. I put down a sizeable cash deposit and the racer ended up selling the Mini-Stock to someone else a few days before I was supposed to pick up the car. He didn't even have the decency to call or write, let me know his plans or give me right of first refusal. He just went ahead and sold it to another out of town racer.
OK...I can live with that.

However, I had a HECK of a time getting back my deposit. Finally after threatening to turn the case over to my attorney employer, the racer sent back my cash deposit about a month later.

Hmm...I guess the saying about what goes around, comes around has some truth. ;)

Gerry, if you are going to tell the world about our deal at least tell them the whole story. The deal was you put $250 down and wasnt going to be able to pick it up for 2-3 weeks. You told me that if someone else wanted to buy it and had money in hand to go ahead and sell it. So I did just that. I will admit it did take 3 weeks and 2 checks to finally get a check in your hands, however the first check got returned back to me in pieces from the post office. So I had to send a second one out.
The big difference between Lloyd and myself is I PAID YOU!!!!!! It has been almost 5 months since Lloyd picked up my car. Gerry I made our deal right.
