big money night = cheater night

I heard some of the winners were caught cheating at jyi.(thanks new tech guy), but then just got a little slap on the wrist and drove off with their winnings. Tell me this isn't true. What is this kindergarten? They got a warning? There are other tracks in the area. Perhaps everyone serious enough about fair racing to follow the rules should go elsewhere and let that cheater run around by himself (or herself) for a while! ....

The water test will not detect nitromethane. You have to use a hydrometer to check the specific gravity.

Doesn't matter how your fuel fails it still fails. We had the same thing happen at bedrock 3 years ago. We bought our fuel from Bier Bros in St Peters Mo. They use the same hose to despense all their fuel so our fuel failed the water test. So we lost a win as you should have. It doesn't mater how it fails it still fails. JYI DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS DECISION. Consider yourself lucky any other track I have ever been to your win would have been taken away. So Consider yourself lucky. Andy

As far as this stupid water test, if your wanting to check for legal/illegal fuel, do the correct test, the more technical method!!!!

anybody that beats gradon lovelace and the jacksons that bad or some cheating motherfukkkkkkkkkkkkkkers and if ur fuel was dirty u were cheating cause gradon flat killed us at bedrock and u run the same setup at the two tracks so yea and well we all know the jackson sbr train rolls good with all the cabbage they spend so that is y jyi dont get karts why go race against cheaters.

OK Contaminated fuel it doesn't matter how it got that way is should be an out. What is the point of testing at all if any excuse will work. There is no excuse it's a black or white issue.
The sport I though is family oriented when you have you kart right you should stand a chance. That is taken away when the playing field in not level. It's sure a shame It's a nice place to go.
We have stuck a finger in our fuel tank a thousand times and have never had a test that would not clear. We have ask week after week this season for Tec, but when tec is done it meant absolutly nothing. I guess you have to have a good excuse for not passing???? This was a slap in the face. I am not upset with the ones found Illegal its the one that will not inforce the rules that is at fault.
WHY HAVE RULES IF THEY MEAN NOTHING!!!!
If you ever get a Tec that you will follow let us know and we will come back till then our money must not mean as much as other people money.

I would not say thats true about if u beat lovelace or the jacksons u are cheating. Gerry Dintelman got second place in the juniors with lovelace and jacksons and he passed tech just fine.

I don't know about JYI or Bedrock but we can have our fuel tested at any given time of the day so we know at the start of the race if the fuel will pass or not. There are so many reasons why fuel wont pass, not all the time it is done on purpus. But you are right the rules are black and white. Play by them or don't cry when you get cought. Bigevil1 I can't spell eather so now what? You can't beat dirtgril in drinking anyway.... so there.

I do do not want to accuse anyone of cheating, because the water test does not tell you if it is a hot fuel or a dirty fuel, just if it is an approved fuel.A couple of the karts Sat. night definitely had unapproved fuel and were let go with a slap on hand.I know JYI did not want to make 2 or 3 people mad with a DQ, but they made a whole lot more people irate by not DQing.It's too bad that this had to happen on a big money night, because JYI added extra money to the pot, to bring in more karts, but with Sat. nights ruling I think they did just the opposite and drove people away, JYI does not need to lose anymore karts.It is also not just the money at stake here either, the 2 karts that failed and the second place karts are there every week running for points, I would hate to see someone lose a trophy or position due to a bad call.

Those mentioned should learn how to lose gracefully just like everyone else. The whole point to my starting this was to point out that if you break the rules and then the track doesn't uphold their own rules, what does that teach these kids? It's okay to run illegal when money is involved?

An Easy Fix For Mr JYI ....buy a hydrometer kit (around $150) and a stocker engine tech kit (around $350) i would be happy to show how thier used...

everyone knows you can't spell. i just hate it when someone speaks their opinion and then tells the other they need to go back to school to learn to spell. while all the time their own spelling is just as bad.jmo. don't know dirtgirl enough to declare me the champ or not. i think i can hold my own though.

I do not understand why Jackson and Lovelace seem to be singled out here. I have personally witnessed both of them loan parts and give advice to their competition. I was there and neither of them were saying anything about the decision. Neither one of them get on here and post so please don't single them out. Who ever brought their name into this should not have. It all comes down to JYI dropped the ball. Andy

The way I see it is if the fuel is dirty that means there is some kind of contamination in it which would lead me to beleive that the kart won't run as well. So when these so called "cheaters" get to the track check their fuel see if their legal. Then when they are go racing and I bet they still spank the other cars.
