RSC Equipment Rental will once again sponsor the $1,000 to win Street Stock special feature at Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg on Saturday night. Integrity Interiors and Boling Heating, Cooling and Electrical Service have also added to the purse for a great payout down the line-up for this special race. The Mighty Modifieds, ULMA Late Models and B- Modifieds will also compete for the checkers this weekend. Time and weather permitting drivers will be available for autographs in the grandstands during intermission.
This race was one of the highlight events last season and fan expectations are high again for the special feature this year with a highly competitive class of talented drivers. Over 40 drivers have competed in the Street Stock division this year with Brain Johnson, Marc Carter, Nathan Himes, Scott Dukes and Chad Eickleberry winning features. The top five in the point’s race include Johnson, Tammy Korff, Herb Danner, Eickleberry and Brett Nail.
Admission gates open at 5, with hot laps at 7 and racing beginning at 7:30. Normal admission prices will be in effect for this weekend’s special event and pit passes are $20 with the pit gates also opening at 5. Street Stock drivers that have raced twice at CMS in this division during the 2007 race season will not be required to pay the $50 entry fee.
