What happened to the tread about the BIKE giveway at Tri City last night?
It was pretty interesting and it got yanked.
 
The announcer said last night they was taking donations for the mega bike give away. They are tryin to reach a goal of a 100 bikes. It good it see all area tracks doing this stuff for the kids.

So they accidentally did JR Fan Club last night when it was thought they weren't going to. I'm sure it was an honest mistake.

This is a pubic forum and everybody that post should not have to worry about there post being deleted. If you ask someone to do a job maybe you should let them do there job and do what you are suppose to do yourself. Julie has did a heck of a job this year and never should of been done the way she was... What is going to happen with fan club now? I talk alot of sh_t on here,but can say everyweek the kids at the play ground look forward to there name being called and always have big smiles when they do win.. Maybe somebody should rethink there choices and try to fix this the right way!!!! Thanks so much Julie for what you have done for my kids and the rest of them that have won too. You should also know there are alot of people who appreciate what you have done with Jr fan club. Thanks again dirtboy!!!

Thanks Dirtboyl Much appreciated! If people new the entire story, they wouldn't just think no big deal. I know 2 or more sponsors that are not happy about this. Sponsors need to be recognized. And, that was my biggest concern. That's all I am saying. It is done and over with now. But, really ****s that I am the bad guy "that has gotten a lot of complaints" about how the Junior Fan Club was ran this year. I'm done.
 
This is Tammy Gundaker. Before this gets totally out of hand and everyone starts pointing fingers.

There was a miscommunication whether or not Junior Fan Club was being done last night. A very honest mistake. Julie didn't think we where doing Junior Fan Club because of the special event and Tri City didn't realize that. Bottom line. Tri City wasn't sure at the time what was going on with Junior Fan Club for the night, I got a call the Bikes were delivered but the table wasn't set up yet. I thought maybe they were running late with the weather. We announced Junior Fan Club sign was in the Popcorn Stand to get things started. In this 2 hour window Julie was upset because she thought Tri City did this on their own. She didn't know we didn't realize it wasn't scheduled. When really we weren't sure what was really going on and didn't want to disappoint the kids. We thougt we were trying to help by getting things started. Bottom line.

I never talked to Julie myself Friday night and had no idea what was really going on about her being upset until this morning and I called first thing to find out what happen.

I called Buddy and Julie today to try and find out what happen. Julie as very upset because the 2 sponsors names were not mentioned and I didn't blame her. I told her I would make sure to take care of this. This was a all about communication. She thought we weren't having Jr. Fan Club and we thought we were.

This had been great for the kids and Julie and Buddy have done a great job, why would we want to upset that. We thought until we got a chance to talk to Julie we would get Junior Fan club started with the kids putting there names down in the popcorn stand and go from there. We had no idea it would escalate to this.

We admitted we made a mistake by having Junior Fan Club, there was no intent to make Julie look bad like she wasn't doing it and apologized to Julie about not announcing the 2 sponsors who donated the bikes (we didn't have there names at the time) and offered to make everything right. I can't do more than admit we made a mistake, I tried to fix it. People do make mistakes.

Aye we are all Human, we make mistakes and we make up for it the best we can and sounds to me it was a very honest one at that....
 
JMO... after all the big events we have had down there and knowing Jr fan club is never done on these nights how could this just seem to happen this one night? In a tough econamy and tough times at all area tracks,the sponsor should have been the first one to thank!! I think they should announce the sponsors several time a night and give thanks and appreciation to them.
