(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team headed to the St. Louis area to compete in a pair of Dirt Late Model special events over the May 30-31 weekend. Following a rain-out of the $5,000 to win ‘Bud 40′ at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Friday, Billy Moyer salvaged his weekend on Saturday evening at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri. Billy won his heat race from the pole position and later started the 40-lap MARS DIRTcar Series main event from the inside of the second row. The Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer then led laps 3-31 of the $5,000 to win race before settling for a strong runner-up effort behind only winner Brian Birkhofer.
