Batesville, Arkansas (7/22/09) – Billy Moyer Jr. piloted his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis by Moyer/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to a pair of top five finishes in O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Model action over the weekend.
Jr. Motorsports entered the $2,000 to win/$300 to start O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model event on Friday night at Beebe Speedway in Beebe , Arkansas . With 24 Super Late Models on hand, Billy started 3rd in his heat race and advanced to a second place finish, earning him the 7th starting spot for the 30 lap main event. In the feature, Billy would advance to a 5th place finish behind winner, Jon Kirby, Gary Christian, Kyle Beard, and Dewaine Hottinger.
Billy was in action with the O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Models on Saturday night at Drew County Speedway in Monticello , Arkansas as twenty-two competitors entered the $2,000 to win/$300 to start event. After charging from 8th to a 3rd place finish in his heat race, Moyer Jr., started 4th in the feature. He would battle his way to a 3rd place finish in the 30 lap event behind event winner, Michael Murphree, and Jeff Floyd. Via his strong weekend runs, Billy continues to lead the O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model standings with a 39 point advantage over second place, Kyle Beard.
This weekend, Moyer Jr. will make the short trek to his home track, Batesville Motor Speedway, in Locust Grove , Arkansas to compete in a pair of O’Reilly MSRA and O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Model challenge events at the racy, 3/8 mile oval. Action gets underway on Friday, July 24th at Batesville Motor Speedway with a $2,000 to win event. On Saturday, July 25th a fresh program will be held, which will be headlined by a $2,500 to win feature.
