Batesville, Arkansas (7/14/09) – Billy Moyer Jr. will ride his trusty #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis by Moyer/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into O’Reilly MSRA battle once again this weekend as he continues to be the marked man atop the point’s standings.

With the season rapidly approaching its halfway mark, Billy Moyer Jr. sits atop the point’s standings for the O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Model tour by 24 markers over second place, Kyle Beard. This weekend, Moyer Jr. will look to add to his total as he enters a pair of events in the state of Arkansas.

On Friday, July 17th, Billy will be in action at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas in a $2,000 to win/$300 to start, 30 lap event with the O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Models. He competed at the facility once earlier in the year with the O’Reilly MSRA and came away with a 9th place finish.

On Saturday, July 18th, Jr. Motorsports will invade Drew County Speedway in Monticello, Arkansas for the Topless 30, which will be highlighted by the O’Reilly MSRA Super Late Models battling for $2,000 to win/$300 to start in a 30 lap event, which will see the competitors running roofless. Earlier in the year, Moyer Jr. rocketed his way to a $2,000 feature win at Drew County Speedway and will be looking to bank on that previous success this weekend.

Last weekend Billy resumed his pursuit of the O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model title over the weekend with a double header at 67 Speedway in Texarkana, Arkansas. On Friday night, July 10th with twenty-one Super Late Models on hand, Billy won his heat race and started 4th in the feature on an extremely rough race track. He would survive the rough conditions to record a 4th place finish in the 25 lap feature.

On Saturday night, July 11th, Moyer Jr. entered the second night of the double header on a much smoother, slick track. After starting 6th in his heat race, Billy advanced to a 4th place finish, which earned him the 10th starting spot for the 30 lap feature. He would battle his way to a solid, 5th place finish by the time that the checkered flag fell and earned the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award along the way for passing more cars than anyone else in the feature.
