They are in front of the pass, sice head on the little flat spot on the block. behind the alternator on 70's and up vehicles. You can buy a $12 book that will tell you everything you need to know. At any bookstore. Or swap meet. If not just ask. I'll dig it up..
If your down to the cylinders, 4 inch = 350...3.750 = 305..Go to www.MorTec.com . Look in the back for all Chev. casting #'s..Good to have all the old (and new) casting numbers....Hope this helps..Good Luck
