His tires punched too soft after qualifying and his fast time was not allowed. His Hoosier LM-20 tire punched 35 on the durometer when 40 is the minimum required. Bloomquist loaded up after his qualifying time was disallowed.

still the best their is!!!

he'll go home, work on the special tire brew recipe, and be back, with the right duro this time!

chit happens!

Once a cheater always a cheater. Once a cry baby always a cry baby. I love how Bloomer can get caught cheating and people still think he is this racing God.

everyone complains about him doing this and he does this and on and on.3/4 the feild at any track is bending the rules in one way shape or form.tha man wins races, not just a few fly by night races either..his win/loss record is phenominal.the way he puts a car around the track is phenominal.his tuning skills are phenominal.as harry once said,''theres nothing he cant do in a race car''....

in a nutshell it is pretty simple!

BLOOMER IS THE BEST BARNONE!!!!!!!

It's Called Tire Prep

Welcome To The Wonderful World Of Tire Prep. He Needs To Back Off The Creosote Just A Little Bit. Make Them Punch Out At A 35 When He Leaves The Pit Area. Take 2 Slow Laps After The Checkered Flag. And Head To The Pit Area. They Will Punch Out Around The 40 Mark By Then.:d

Very Well Said .... It's called pushing the envelope .... I can't believe I agree with someone who refuses to put pink on his cars for me   :D LOL!!!!!

You think Bloomer's in this as a hobby? No, he's in this to win money. Apparently they went a bit too soft on the tires, and got caught. And Bloomquist is the type that doesn't want to tear up his equipment starting at the back, or on a rough track (remember I-55 two years ago, and Tri-City last year?).

I dont know seems to me that if you are that good of a racer you wouldnt have to bend the rules to win races.

Maybe if Bloomer only ran at one track it would be easy for him to set his car up each time. When your one of the best and go to many different tracks with various type of weather and dirt, then sometimes you will scew up. Believe me, I was at Brunswick Friday night and the weather ****ed.... it was cold!!!!
and raining and actually rained out on Saturday.

Let me think...... did Babb not get d/q at Eldora for not having the right weight???? You did not see anyone bashing him.

For any driver's or pit crew that posts to this, I am sure your car is not always set the same. You try to figure out where you are going to be at the end; sometimes it doesn't work out.

As was posted, this is business for Scott. Why would he risk tearing up his car for a minimal amount of money.

In any event when the end of racing 2008 comes, let's see where Bloomer comes in the money at. Scott does not get out there just to run around the track and tear up his equipment. The man knows racing and race cars, he also knows the rules and knows that they inspect the cars, he does not intentionally go against the rules. Not racing costs him money.

Also, those of you who are posting negative on here about here, let's see if you are in his pits or at his trailer buying something.

If Scott knows the rules then why put the wrong tires on? Babb admitted to his mistake you don't hear Babb DQED all the time. Babb also didn't load up his car and say I'm never coming back to this track cause I didn't get my way.

I don't by Bloomer stuff and I don't go to his trailer after the races.

Shannon was D/Q because he began the race with a certain weight and planned on the dirt/mud being on his car. As I stated drivers/pit crews are not always right, mistakes happen.

Again, Scott is in this to make money. He is not going to tear up a car he owns without a good opportunity to make money.

Compare how driver's who have their own equipment races compared to drivers who depend on sponsors to repair their cars.
