Ok Mav:

I'll have to let Dave know your talking "bad" about his Orange Creation (You know that's his new baby this year) --- You never know - this might be just the kind of information he needs to hear, to bring her out to run her. You know -- I can't wait to be there for this event!!! (even if he doesn't race that night) Looking forward to seeing you & Pam....(& others too!). You never know - Dave might just come up & hot lap, or he may run a heat race, or (IF...the stars are aligned properly, and the moon is in the right position & he's checked his weather rock for proper conditions) - he just might race the feature --- You just never know.....But you're right --- it would be interesting transporting the "beast" down the highway...I wonder how that would be our fuel mileage? Any thoughts..... :)

The "Lucky 13" driver is the 13th driver to cross the line on the WHITE FLAG LAP of the Big Dawg. Not the 13th place finisher, but whoever is running 13th when the WHITE FLAG comes out.

On that note, how many laps will the Big Dawg feature run? Since this is supposed to be an "All Star" race for the local bombers, it seems like it should be longer than the typical 12-15 lap distance that most tracks give the class for their features. It seems like 20 would be appropriate, unless it turns out to be a late night.

Ok its Sunday night. Thursday is coming up real soon. Do we have anymore commitments for the Big Dawg Challenge ?
Lets hear it guys whos gonna show ?

Thursday's coming up fast in the windshield, hope everyone is dusting off their A-game!

$300 to win in the feature
1 Shiny New Silver Aero Beadlock for the Dash winner
Lucky 13 Silver Aero Non-beadlock for the 13th car on the white flag lap
Big Dawg Tshirt for every driver

Looking forward to Thursdays racing. I just thought, it's the only shorttrack event on the BCR calendar this year, so I guess whoever wins the Big Dawg can also claim the BCR Track Champion's title as well.:)

I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade--pun unintended--but I just checked weather.com, and there's a 60-70% chance of the dreaded "R" word on Thursday.

Has any thought been given to having a raindate for this show? Perhaps late in the season, when other tracks have closed?

Id go there..but..my car wont pass tech(even if i slipped some dollars..i think to the tech's)..lol...good luck you guys..breath a little life in that track is better than nothing. Good luck

Greenville Service will be there to supply the Big Dawg drivers with everything they need to win the Big Dawg! Well, maybe not everything, you still gotta take it to the front, but fuel, tires, all that kind of stuff they will have for ya!

Need more information or a part brought to the track? Call Don or Rick at 618-664-2727.

Brandond, as far as weather, I don't even want to think about it. We will have to cross that bridge if we come to it, and I am hoping we don't have to and Mother Nature plays fair on this one.

Race day info

I will be available all day Thursday via cell phone for any questions/weather info. I will also be in contact w/ Todd all day in order to bring everyone up to date info in case of bad weather. If by chance Mother Nature would win tomorrow, I will work with Todd to do whatever we can to make this event happen sometime this season. Thanks for all your interest and support and I am looking forward to having your special event run in conjunction with my family's special event.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at BCR

Hey I know this is late notice, but I am still in need of about 2-3 pushtrucks for tomorrow night. My original plan for trucks has fallen through. If anyone has a push truck and is interested, please contact me to see if we can work something out. Thanks

As of 12:45 the weather is fine at BCR and the races are on. But these storms of late seem to be coming up fast, so please call my cell at 618-741-0407 and listen to my voicemail message. I won't be able to answer every call I get, but I will leave a message on there stating the time I put it on there and what the situation is. As soon as anything changes, my voicemail message will be changed.

618-741-0407 for BCR Weather Updates.
