I like duct tape.
We are so lucky do you realize captin save a track "Kevin & Gordon gundaker" are now the fine owners of lake ozark speedway! Well i guess thats another track i wont get to see . keep on buyin kevin & gordon we sure hope you own it all one day maybe then ill start watchin ice skating or do you own that too!

P.S. sorry RKR motor sports I know your friends with him, but i cant say i agree with what they do,say or attempt.

The purchase of the track is old news. What has brought on such a nasty attitude towards the Gundakers?? Sounds as if you have a personal beef with them. My suggestion is that you take it personally to Kevin and see if you can resolve it instead of bashing him on this board for no reason.

I'm so sorry, I try not to keep up with the Goondockers so it was new news to me when they were kind enough to send me an ad announcing their newest take over. I love how they ruined Tri-City. I've been going there since I was a little kid and now it's just like every other track in the area. WHOOOPPPPEEEEE. :D Let me guess, they are planning major re-construction at Lake Ozark so it can be exactly like every other track or are they planning to tear it down and put up a hospital? You know Gordon is really all about Land Development - I bet that piece of land will fetch a nice return some day.

your an idiot.end of story.maybe you can buy a track and make it how you want.until then let kevin do what he wants with what he bought.

Don’t you mean your going to start watching female figure skating? We all know your already men’s figure skating # 1 fan.
I hope the Gundakers buy all the tracks then the SuperChicken won’t have to spend all his time defending all the real race fans from smokers of poles like you.

i am not pro-gundaker, nor am i anti-gundaker; i go to a racetrack to see specific types of cars run; i could care less about the shape or size of the circle of mud. if the owners of the circle of mud wish to make it more to their liking, then more power to them; with most racetracks struggling with a weak economy, and now the budget of everyone being strained like never before(thanks, oil companies and ameren), it's good to see a racetrack being updated and becoming a bit stronger; not left to slowly die off. for the record, it's been 3 years since i have been to tcs, and i probably will not attend this year; but, it's nice to know it will be there for awhile yet.thanks,art.

Area Race tracks

Art,

Great comments, Tri City had been a great race track in the past, but had not been brought up to current standards nor any improvements by the previous owners. As noted all the new improvements from lighting, track surface to overall appearance are a great benefit to the area and the racing community. I believe " D8 TatorTot" would best serve the STL racing community to either go to the ball game or as noted start ice skating himself and stay home.

Can we say MORON

The Gundakers!

I'm weighing in on this one! I've worked for both Bob Wente and Tammy, Kevin and Gordon. Both were fair to me because I treated them with professionalism. As it's been said, it takes money to make money. Period. You have to spend (advertisement, facility updates, etc.) to compete. In the immediate St. Louis area alone you have TCS, I-55, Highland and Belleville. Add to that Greenville, Montgomery Co., and the rest of the "outlying" tracks. That's a lot of competition. When I first spoke with Tammy and Kevin, they shared a little about their vision of what they would like to see/have at TCS. They've owned the track for two years, starting their third this season. Look what they've done up to now! Spruced up the place, increased the pit area, added additional lighting, revamped the track and new lighting is set to be added. Unless someone comes in with a checkbook that has millions and millions and millions of dollars in it, look for TCS to be "the track" for both drivers and fans in the midwest! Gordon, Tammy and Kevin have "been around the block" a time or two when they were racing and have seen what other tracks do that work and don't work.
As for the 3/8ths mile, I think the racing will be better. More room for the SS to "bang on each other"...the mod's and "open it up some" and the LM can seperated the men from the boys! I look forward to watching the action at TCS in 2007. Good luck G & G motorsports!

Great post maniac!!! Wel said. Enough tracks have closed or are on the verge. Sounds like this guy..or...girl has a personal beef with Kevin and needs to take it to private message land.

Buying lake of the ozarks track is a very good investment. I have been there a few times and it is a great Faculity, If they could only mirror try-city to it, it would be a great improvement to tri-city. as for land development, I dont think so, who is going to buy out the Mens Club just up the road. every time I have went there, that club is always packed. If you havent been to ozark track I would suggest going at lease once. It is a class track in all respects.

Can you say
Walmart and a TIF from the city

I CAN SAY NOTHING IS SACRED! MONEY TALKS BULLCRAP WALKS! WHEN THOSE WITH THE DOUGH DECIDE THEY WANT SOMETHING. ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN. ANYONE CAN SAY WHAT THEY WANT AND WHAT THEIR INTENTIONS ARE. BUT LET THE PRICE GET RIGHT AND SEE HOW THINGS CHANGE! I HOPE NOTHING AS SUCH HAPPENS TO ANY OF OUR AREA TRACKS. BUT, I AM REALISTIC NOT NAIVE.

Mainiac
I seem to remember you posting here that the Gundakers DID NOT pay you and that they had your wife's coat
Why the change?

Please don’t forget as this discussion continues that the majority owner in G&G Motorsports (owner of Tri-City Speedway and now Lake Ozark Speedway) is a partner in a civil suit against Montgomery County Speedway. A lawsuit that labels MSC as a public nuisance.

That is old news, and that has nothing to do with Kevin...get over it.

Old news? NOPE! Still pending litigation so it’s current affairs my dear.

Nothing to do with Kevin? Well… at minimum you’re half right with that one. It has EVERYTHING to do with the owners of Tri-City and Lake Ozark Speedway, which is G&G Motorsports! G&G Motorsports is Gordon Gundaker too, not just Kevin!

Get over it? NOPE sure won’t! The civil suit is threatening to run my home track out of business. I’m sure you’d be squawking all over here if an adjoining property owner were suing Tri-City Speedway as a public nuisance.
