Brakes?

Me and my brother were having a little argument about brakes.

For anyone who drives a latemodel or sportsman, at I-55 do you use your brakes at all entering the turns?

I believe they are not used, i think if you let off the gas and let the car break loose then get back on it is how its done, he believes they hit the brakes to get the car into a slide.

Who is right?
 
just depends,everyone has a different driving style.i personally never back all the way out of the gas,i think it upsets the car and wants to push up the track when you get back on the gas..i get to where i wanna be and back out of the gas until the car sets where i want it,then i slowly eas back into the throttle keeping the car hooked up..only problem i have ran into is sometimes the car doesnt want to come down off the bars.

on the same token i have been on tracks where you absolutely had to use brakes,so it kinda just depends.
