(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and the Kinzer Motorsports team followed the Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series to both Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina and Mountain View Raceway in Spring City, Tennessee over the June 9-10 weekend. On Friday night in a $2,000 to win battle at the "Tiger Pit," Brandon timed in second fastest overall during qualifying before running second in the A-Main behind only race winner Clayton Miller. At Mountain View on Saturday evening with a $1,500 paycheck up for grabs, Brandon stopped the clock third quickest during time trials and later finished the 25-lapper on the podium in third behind only victor Clayton Miller and runner-up Chris Wilson.

With the pair of top three efforts over the weekend, BK currently finds himself on top of the heated Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series point standings. He is 25 markers ahead of his closest competition, as Brandon vies for his second straight series Championship. You can find full results from both of these events by visiting the series Facebook page!

The next event on the racing calendar for the #18 team is scheduled to be at Wartburg Speedway in Wartburg, Tennessee next Saturday, June 24. A previously rained-out Cumberland Plateau Open Wheel Racing Series showdown has been rescheduled for next Saturday and a $2,000 winner’s check will be on the line.
