(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) The Kinzer Motorsports team headed to a pair of venues in Kentucky and Indiana over the August 22-23 weekend for two high-profile events. On Friday night at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky, Brandon Kinzer won his heat race and later started the 11th Annual 'John Bradshaw Memorial' from the outside of the front row following a very long rain delay. In the wee hours of the morning, Brandon led the first seven circuits in the 50-lap Ultimate Super Late Model Series special. At the conclusion of the 'John Bradshaw Memorial,' which boasted a $10,001 top prize, BK found himself fourth in the final rundown behind only victor Mike Marlar, Kent Robinson, and Skylar Marlar.

After a short night's sleep, the #18 team was ready to rock on Saturday evening at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolled into Lawrenceburg to preside over the annual running of the 'Whiskey City 50,' which carried a $10,000 winner's check. Brandon knocked down the twelfth fastest lap overall during qualifying and later grabbed the fifth transfer spot through his heat race. At the end of the 50-lapper, the Allen, Kentucky ace was placed seventeenth in the final finishing order of the televised event. Full results from both Ponderosa and Lawrenceburg can be accessed online at www.dirtondirt.com.

Kinzer Motorsports is now slated to enjoy the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend away from the racetrack, as they start prepping for the rapidly approaching 'World 100.' The hallowed Eldora Speedway will once again be the epicenter of the Dirt Late Model universe on September 4-6, as the 44th annual running of the "Granddaddy of Them All" will take place at the Rossburg, Ohio facility. On Thursday and Friday, a pair of 25-lap preliminary main events will take place both nights, each of which will pay $5,000 to the winner.

When Saturday rolls around at the "Big E," the stakes will be much higher, as six heat races and consolation events will set the stage for the 100-lap grind. The winner of the 44th Annual 'World 100' will not only receive the hefty $47,000 payday, but also the famed globe trophy. Brandon has made one career start in the most prestigious feature event in our industry, as he finished eleventh back in 2002.
