(MUSCATINE, IOWA) The Brian Birkhofer Racing team has been busy the past week or so on the road competing in several high-profile events. Brian has been up-and-down throughout the past couple of events, but brought everything together on Monday, May 29 at the West Liberty Raceway in West Liberty, Iowa. The Muscatine, Iowa native picked up the $5,000 payday in the PolyDome World Dirt Racing League (WDRL) Series event after taking the lead from Dave Eckrich on lap sixteen. Brian and the Birkhofer Racing team will travel to Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois this weekend for the annual UMP ‘Tri-Track Challenge,’ which features three $10,000 to win shows at three different venues. The action kicks off on Friday, June 2 at the Paducah (KY) International Raceway. The second stop on the tour is at the I-55 (MO) Raceway on Saturday, with the finale set for Sunday at the Vermilion County (IL) Speedway.
