Brian Thompson, refund or boycott of Midget race?

I would imagine that $34,000 check was never cashed though since the show was cancelled. Since the race was never rescheduled or run I don't know... I do know that SFCR lost several thousand $$$$ off that last show though.

I don't think a boycott is the answer. I would keep trying to talk to Mr. Thompson and see where it takes you. If you decide to boycott, that's on you.

All i have to say is that Brians word is good with me! If he says the all stars have the money then i will bet they do! havent you people come across something else to complain about in the last 8 months, give it a rest!

Just Curious?

Why doesn't Brian Thompson contact Jimmy Dearing and make a "formal" statment about the situation. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I knew this many people were upset with me!

Why does he NEED Jimmy Dearing? Why doesn't he just step up to the plate and handle the situation himself? Too embarrassed maybe???

I was not at the race but I do understand that there are alot of cost involved with just getting a show to hot laps. I understand that the races might be called off for a number of things when I buy my ticket. I enjoy sprint car racing and love to see shows like the All Stars come to town and if Brian was to give all the money back he would stand to loose alot of money and would end up like the last guy who ran Benton BROKE!! So I suggest you speak to your tax man and just wright off the ticket price as a donation and recoop your losses that way. Me I would pay $20 just to watch a sprint car sit still.

I was thinking the same thing. Brian Thompson has been on here alot lately, he knows whats going on. It seems like he would have said something by now  When people avoid you (not just Brian Thompson), it makes you go hmmmmmmm?
