Can I please get some results. Did charlie have to knock down the pay at all or were there enough cars for the payout thanks.

Brownstown pay based on # of cars

Jimmy called again. He said there were 26 Sportsman cars on Sunday, and he made it a total of 27 today. They paid $1,000.00 to the winner. The $2,000.00 to win amount was based on a 40-car field.

I don't know about the other classes, just the Sportsman.

3E Robbie Eilers won the hornets (Congrats)
7D Dave Zbinden set the fast time in the hornets -17.373 secs. beating the old track record of 17.570. (Congrats)

M. Bolyard #28 won bomber and got paid 750 to win
L3 Lenzel 2cd-$500
3d B.j Deal
85 camaro? $225
3B Blankenship $200

I HOPE YOU PEOPLE REALIZE WHAT CHARLIE IS DOING!

$2000 BASED ON A 40 CAR FIELD. THAT'S AN AVERAGE OF $50 PER CAR.

TAKE $50 x 27 CARS MAKES IT A $1350 PAY OUT. WHAT HAPPEN TO THE $350?

I HAVE BEEN IN THE PAST AND IT WAS $100 ENTRY AND $50 FOR PASSES.

THAT WOULD MAKE IT $2700 JUST IN ENTRY FEES AND ANOTHER $1350 IN

JUST DRIVER PASSES.

THAT'S $4050 IN JUST 27 CARS AND 27 DRIVERS. I KNOW HE HAS TO PAY

FOR OTHER THINGS, BUT COME ON, AT LEAST PAY FOR THE AMOUNT OF

CARS YOU GOT.

CHARLIE WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?

PAYOUT BASED ON A 40 CAR FIELD. THAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO CUT THE

PURSE IN HALF WHEN YOU HAVE MORE THAN HALF THE CARS.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

I just can't pass this one up ...

Lets see, the Street Stock A-Feature Winner was paid $1,000, Fast Time was paid $100, and the Dash Winner was paid $200. That's $1,300.

Then, there are the other 21 cars that were paid for the A-Feature, in order as follows: 2) 600, 3) 400, 4) 350, 5) 300, 6) 275, 7) 250, 8) 225, 9) 200, 10) 175, and 11-22) 150. That's $4,575

Then, there are the cars in the B-Feature, that were paid because they did not transfer to the A-Feature, which totalled $440.

So, now we're up to $1,300 + $4,575 + $440, which totals $6,315.

And, that is just the Street Stock class.

Let's do some math, if there are 28 drivers paying a $50 entry fee, and a $50 2-day pit pass, that is only $2,800 in revenue. When the show was advertised as $2,000 to win based on a 40-car field, that was exactly what it meant.

As you can see from the math above, it certainly takes more than a driver's entry fee and pit pass to pay the entire purse for a show and it appears the promoter was very fair to the drivers that did attend the show.

Just the facts ...

Was probably just curious how bad Charlie hosed the racers.

Didn't he cut the purse one time for falling 1 car short?

That show has went down hill for seeral years now. Would doubt if it goes by the waste side soon.

All I can say is at least Charlie tries to put on a big show for us lower class guys. I sure don't see to many other tracks putting up any money for the street stock or bomber class. One more thing he has not cut his purse on any of his friday night races no matter what the car count is unlike other tracks. jmo

I Understand That It Takes More Than A Entry Fee And A Driver To Pay For It All.

What Was The Entry Fee $50 Or $100?

What About The Average Of 3 People Per Car? "hardly Anyone Comes Alone!"

What I Am Trying To Say Is That Charlie Did Not Prorate The Purse, He Just Picked Half. That Just Unfair To The Drivers.

Charlie Had 28 Cars, That Is Almost 3/4 The Cars Needed But He Only Paid Out 1/2 The Purse

And All I Am Talking About Is The Street Stock Class.

Thanks,

Wang!

IF HE COULD DRUM UP SOME SPONSORSHIP FOR IT LIKE THE I55 FALL NATIONALS, IT WOULD HELP GENERATE CAR COUNTS. ITS TOUGH FOR GUYS TO COMMIT WHEN THE MONEY IS A BIG QUESTION MARK.
