Vicksburg, MS (03/01/10) – Bub McCool powered his #57J McCool Logging/Trakstar/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to a top five finish over the weekend in the 13th Annual Bama Bash at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama.

Bub entered the 13th Annual Bama over the weekend at Green Valley Speedway. McCool looked to shake the monkey off his back that followed him around the state of Florida during the course of the Winternationals. The $10,000 to win event drew 54 Super Late Models, and Bub would turn the third fastest lap in his group to earn the third starting spot for his qualifier. McCool would go on to finish second in his qualifier to Stacey Holmes, which earned him the seventh starting spot for Sunday's 75 lap feature. In the main event, Bub would pick off a pair of positions to record a solid, 5th place finish behind race winner, Ray Cook, Chris Wall, Randy Weaver, and Ronnie Johnson.

McCool Motorsports is back in Vicksburg, busily preparing for the upcoming weekend, which will see the #57J chauffer in action in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Series events. The weekend will get underway with the $10,000 to win, Spring Thaw at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday, March 6th.

On Sunday, March 7th, McCool will travel to Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina for March Madness VIII, which will also pay $10,000 to win.
