All teams interested in participating in the C.A.R.S. Late Model series are invited to attend an informational meeting at the Mt.Vernon Eagles on 11/26/05. We will be discussing our engine/rebate program, who all is interested in racing in the Mt. Vernon, Paducah, Brownstown IL & Danville, IL area, as well as other series information. There will be door prizes including a $250 cash prize. The meeting will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday Nov. 19th. The Mt.Vernon Eagles is located at 901 Prairie just off RT. 37 in Mt.Vernon, IL.


C.A.R.S. will also be at the Effingham Super Swap Meet the following day Sunday, Nov. 20th. There will be two meetings. The first meeting time will be from 11:00am till 12:00pm. The second meeting time will be from 2:00pm-3:00pm. The meetings will be for BOTH Modifieds & Late Models. PLAN TO ATTEND THESE MEETINGS. RULES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE 2006 SEASON. C.A.R.S. will also have an informational booth as well. EFFINGHAM SUPER SWAP MEET, Sunday November, 20 8:00am-3:00pm Knights of Columbus Hall 1501 W. Fayette Effingham, IL.



C.A.R.S. held their monthly meeting and elected the Board of Directors and they are as follows:

Al Kreke-President
Sean Franklin- Vice President
Tim Herbst- Secretary
Doug Jenkins- Treasurer
 
to answer your question Hairy,yes these tracks are interested in this class, but they are like any promoter, they have questions. How much interest is there in their area, that is what this meeting is about. To see how much interest that there is in the Paducah area, and how many cars can be counted.That is the same with Danville, and Brownstown.
 
so there will be modifeds? sounds like a good deal/what about all the deer hunters?have to kill out friday i guess.

Hairy, yes they have, now we would like to so who is wanting to race with C.A.R.S. at these tracks. I will say the response so far has been great. Has Johnny's sponsor (your dad) bought that 602 yet? LOL. See you & the rest of the SBZ crew at the meeting.

Mod drivers

The modified drivers or racers wanting to look at the C.A.R.S. Modified class may attend both meetings as well. If the modified guys make their voices heard at the two meetings that weekend, there are tracks wanting to run this class, but the tracks are starting to want general numbers listed in their areas.
